Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and systems for implementing a Lubricated Pet Nail Grinder (LPNG). One embodiment takes the form of a LPNG that includes a housing handle, a support portion affixed on a top portion of the housing handle and a through hole extending vertically through the top portion of the housing handle and the bottom portion of the housing handle, a hose extending through the through hole of the housing handle, wherein the hose comprises a connector affixed to a first end of the hose extending through the bottom portion of the housing handle and an actuator affixed to a second end of the hose extending through the top portion of the housing handle, a lubricant, a lubricant source, a cylindrical roller axially mounted on the support portion of the housing handle, a motor mounted within the interior of the housing handle, a nail-pad separator affixed to a rear side of the support portion of the housing handle, and a shield affixed to a font side of the support portion of the housing handle.

A cosmetic cuticle apparatus includes a handle portion having a first end and a second end, two cuticle maintaining devices coupled to the handle portion, and at least one cuticle buffer coupled to at least one side of the two cuticle maintaining devices. The two cuticle maintaining devices include a cuticle pusher having an arcuate periphery and a “V”-shaped cuticle cleaner having a “V”-shaped cross-section.

Abstract: Splatter guard for pots, pans, and other cooking appliances, with long-handled tongs, which have two legs that can be pressed together, includes a movable tongue situated between the two legs so that the tongue is raised when the two legs are pressed together. If the two legs are pressed together, the tongue is automatically raised, at least partially, and in particular in its front area, which faces the free leg ends, to the extent that the tongue protrudes above the two legs. In this way, a clamping space is formed between the raised tongue and the two legs into which a flat splatter guard element can be inserted. If pressure is applied on the two legs when the splatter guard element has been inserted, the splatter guard goes back to its basic position in which the tongue is located, at least essentially, in one plane with the two legs.

Abstract: An implement for abrading or filing a nail of a person, such as a fingernail or a toenail, includes a body that has a first side, a second side, and a peripheral edge. The peripheral edge has a peripheral groove formed therearound that has a floor that continuously varies in depth based on a radial position. A perimeter abrading surface is applied to the floor of the groove. A first abrading surface is applied to the first side of the body, preferably via a removable disk that adheres with an adhesive to the first side of the body. A second abrading surface, preferably via a second removable disk that adheres with the adhesive to the second side of the body, is preferably applied to the second side of the body, the second abrading surface having a different abrasiveness or grit than the first abrading surface.

Abstract: The present invention features a cleaning swab for cleaning, disinfecting, and sealing underneath fingernails. The swab features an elongated shaft having a first end and a second end. A first swab is disposed on the first end of the elongated shaft. The first swab is impregnated with a solution with at least six of the following: keratin, equisetum arvense, carrageenan, aucoumea klaineana extract, ginseng root extract, vitamin C, and tea tree oil. The first swab has an oval cone profile with a hard sharp pointed tip and indentation grooves disposed on the lateral surface of the swab.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an exercise tool. More particularly, it relates to an exercise tool specifically devised as a toe stretcher to align, separate, and stretch toes. The toe stretcher comprises a frame with a separator for separating a plurality of toes. The frame further includes holes or indentations for placement of the toes. Additionally, the frame is flexible, allowing a user to easily manipulate the toe stretcher and place it on the user's toes, effectively separating and stretching toes. Furthermore, the toe stretcher may be attached with a footwear, allowing a user to not only stretch toes, but to also use the toe stretcher as a footwear.

The first jaw has a straight inner surface forming one side of the indentation and an outer surface having a straight portion on an opposite side. The second jaw has a curved inner surface forming the other side of the indentation and an outer surface having a curved portion on an opposite side. By forming the straight and curved portions on the outer surfaces of the jaws, a manicurist can readily determine the orientation of the implement and use the implement to cause either the straight or curved jaw to be inserted between the nail and the underlying skin to clean the underside of the nail. The indentation serves to limit the penetration of the jaws below the nail into the underlying skin and nail bed.

Inserted beneath the fingernail, the cleaning filament contains a series of bristles, flays or scale-like protrusions, positioned along its length, that remove dirt, grease and grime from beneath the fingernail as it is drawn back and forth therein.

Abstract: A portable finger locating and supporting device for use during manicuring comprises an elongate body shaped and dimensioned to be held comfortably between the fingers and palm of one hand. The ends of the fingers pass around a corner portion of the body which extends along the length thereof. The body has a series of spaced recesses (2, 3, 4, 5) extending around the corner portion for receiving respective fingers of the hand to locate and support the fingers separated from one another.

Abstract: A nail instrument includes an elongated handle, a first implement and a second implement. The elongated handle has opposite end portions. Each of the first and second implements have a connecting portion and a working portion. The connecting portion of the first implement is removably mounted to one of the opposite end portions of the elongated handle. The working portion of the first implement is in the form of a conical structure substantially comprised of emery material for providing a filing action. The connecting portion of the second implement is removably mounted to the other of the opposite end portions of the elongated handle. The working portion of the second implement is in the form of a sleeve merging into a flattened blade for providing a prying action and a scraping action.
