The hardware processor is configured to set a temporary base coat region which is a region where a base coat is to be applied, set a temporary design region which is a base design region and which includes an outer shape corresponding to a bounding polygon of the temporary base coat region, detect a base coat region of a nail where the base coat is applied, and adjust the temporary design region so that an outer shape of the temporary design region matches the outer shape of a bounding polygon of the base coat region, set a portion of the adjusted temporary design region overlapping with the base coat region as a design region, and generate design printing data. The printer prints a design on the nail based on the design printing data.

Abstract: Provided are a decorative nail tip and a manufacturing system and method thereof. The decorative nail tip includes a nail tip layer shaped like a nail. A convex outer surface of the nail tip layer is a decorative surface. The nail tip layer includes a flexible portion and a rigid portion which are sequentially arranged in a nail tip direction. The decorative nail tip has a flexible end and a rigid end, and thus can fit the nail and has an orientation function. During use, the decorative nail tip can fit the edge of the nail by means of its flexibility, such that the possibility of stretching, folds, air holes, hollows and edge warping is reduced; and after being cured, the whole nail tip layer can decorate the nail in a rigid and plump form.

Abstract: A gel nail for attaching to a fingernail of a user includes an elongated nail body having a root end, a tip end and two side edges, and defining an attachment portion at said root end for attaching on the fingernail and an extension portion at said tip end for being extended beyond the fingernail. A curvature at the root end is smaller than a curvature of the tip end, such that the root end is more flatten than the tip end. Each of the side edges has a reduced thickness to enable the attachment portion to be bent for matching with a curvature of the fingernail of the user.

Abstract: A printing apparatus includes a body, a print head, a mover, a stand and a sensor. The body has an opening that faces a printing target during printing. The print head is provided in the body and performs the printing on the printing target. The mover is provided in the body and moves the print head to a first position and a second position. The sensor at least senses that a distance between the body and the stand is equal to or shorter than a predetermined distance. The device includes removably attachable top and bottom trim to which can be substituted with different top and bottom trim for different visual appearances. In addition, the disclosed device includes a slidably attached base plate that is movable to a first position for curing of fingernails of the hand and is movable to a second position for curing of toenails of the foot. The base plate includes protrusions for a tactile indicator to a user of proper positioning of a hand.

Abstract: A brace and kit of braces with a method of use. The multi-digit brace includes first and second arcuate members coupled together by top and bottom bridge members. There are raised rails disposed about the circumference of the brace that form a band track within which an elastic band may be disposed to secure the brace to the fingers/toes of a hand/foot. The arcuate members are thinner near the bottom to allow for greater flex/bend of adjacent joints. The arcuate members are spaced from each other and form an hourglass shaped void therebetween. A central processing module is connected to the 3D surface scanning module and the 3D printing module and performs: operating the 3D surface scanning module to obtain an image of a user's hands/feet; processing the image to create an input 3D model of nails of the user; generating an output 3D model corresponding to artificial nails matching dimensions of the user's nails according to the 3D input model; operating the 3D printing module to manufacture artificial nails according to the output 3D model; and generating medical data by correlating the identified features of the user's nails with known medical conditions, in order to diagnose a medical condition of the user which is known to exhibit the identified features as a symptom. Abstract: Systems and methods of adaptive nail printing and collaborative beauty platform hosting are disclosed. In one aspect, embodiments of the present disclosure include a method, which may be implemented on a system, to decorate a physical target. The method can further include determining a size of the physical target and adapting dimensions of the design to the size of the physical target. In a further embodiment, the design having the dimensions that have been adapted on to the physical target is printed. Moreover, content can be depicted while printing the design onto the physical target to decorate the physical target.

Abstract: A nail care tool having an ergonomic elongated handle and a removable operational head attached to the handle is presented. The tool also has a removable scraper or end tip inserted in one of the ends of the handle, useful in cleaning critical cuticle areas. The at least one decal and the substrate have a first adhesion coefficient therebetween. The at least one decal and the tacky surface have a second adhesion coefficient that is greater than the first adhesion coefficient to cause a subset of the at least one decal to adhere to the base coat. A top coat of a top nail polish is applied atop of the base coat and the subset of the at least one decal to seal the subset of the at least one decal and the base coat.

Abstract: A powder composition for forming a cosmetic nail coating comprises an acrylic polymer or copolymer, and about 0.01 wt % to about 1.0 wt % of tertiary phosphine. The tertiary phosphine comprises three aryl groups, alkyl groups, or combination thereof. An example of the tertiary phosphine is a triaryl phosphine that may be substituted with 1 to 3 alkyl groups. A method of forming a cosmetic nail coating comprises the steps of (i) applying to a nail a cyanoacrylate adhesive; and (ii) contacting the nail with the powder composition. No application of an activator is necessary. The advantages of such a method include that fewer steps are needed in order to obtain a nail coating, the increased speed that the system cures, and a safer toxicological profile of the ingredients.
