Abstract: An abrading implement for abrading surfaces comprises a multi-part, hollow holder and a flexible abrasive stratum secured within the holder. The abrasive stratum is flexible or deformable, and protrudes from the holder. A form internal to the abrading implement bears against the abrasive stratum to cause the abrasive stratum to protrude from the holder. The abrasive stratum may be perforated and coated with an abrasive such as silicon carbide.

Abstract: A pattern knife assembly includes: a blade portion formed by forging and having a rear end integrally formed with a connecting sleeve, and a sheathing hole formed at a rear end of the connecting sleeve; and a tang portion formed by a casting or cutting process and having a tang hidden in a handle and integrally formed with a connector at the front end of the tang. The connector of the tang portion is inserted into the sheathing hole of the connecting sleeve of the blade portion and the connecting sleeve is welded to the connector, so that the connecting sleeve covers the connector and is exposed from the front end of the connecting sleeve to achieve the effects of combining the blade with the tang securely, providing a manufacturing process suitable for mass production, and showing the grain of the pattern steel in the exposed steel portion.

Abstract: A foot exfoliation device including a base tray having non-slip surface member disposed on a bottom side thereof; a continuous wall disposed on the base tray top side proximal the periphery thereof; and a trough continuously disposed on the top side inside the wall. Stacked sand paper sheets are disposed within the trough. A removable snap-on cover is disposed atop the base tray. A sand paper post member, which is centrally disposed within the trough proximal to a base tray front end, permits exfoliation between toes. An aperture, centrally disposed proximal to a forward end of each of the sand paper sheets, slidingly receives the post member therethrough. A mirror is disposed on an underside of the cover to permit inspection of the user's feet.

Abstract: A multi purpose fluid container for an integrated makeup kit, particularly an integrated nail makeup kit, nail polish, a polish applicator brush, nail file, nail polish remover solvent, and nail polish remover pads are combined in a convenient size and shape for facile transport in a modestly sized purse or handbag, but which can quickly and easily be separated into a nail polish applicator bottle with brush, a nail file, and a jar containing a plurality of nail polish remover pads saturated with solvent. When separated, the bottles and jar can rest on a flat surface, or be readily held in one's hand, such that the bottles and jar can be used independently of each other, in any sequence or order, without danger of spillage or contamination, and the nail file can be utilized independently from the bottle and jar.

Abstract: A skin care file includes a substantially linear handle portion, a substantially rounded file portion having an edge, and a substantially linear arm portion connecting the handle portion to the file portion. An angle between the handle portion and the arm portion is between approximately 15° and 60°. The file portion has a maximum dimension between approximately 0.5 and 1.5 inches. The file portion includes on at least one side and on at least a portion of the edge a grit surface having a grit between approximately 120 and 60 grit.

Abstract: The pedicure file includes a housing having a hollow interior, the housing being configured in an ovate-like shape. Two identically configured cap members are attached together to form the housing. Outer surfaces of the housing are designed to support removable and disposable abrasive pads thereon. The pads are employed to scrape away calluses from the skin. Ridge and gap structures disposed along the periphery of the outer surfaces to allow for easy placement and removal of the pads. A channel is formed around the housing to form an ergonomic gripping surface. A plurality of replacement pads are stored in the interior of the housing.

Abstract: A disposable nail buffing tool with a holder for receiving a buffing block. The holder may be made of plastic, metal, graphite, or some other light weight and rigid material. The holder has a receptacle for receiving a buffing block. In one embodiment the sides of the receptacle are angled inwards, to grasp and hold the buffing block. The holder also has handles to facilitate holding and using the nail buffing tool. The buffing block is removably received in the receptacle of the holder. The buffing block is made of a compressible layer and one or more abrasive layers attached to the compressible layer. The compressible layer is made of foam or hard sponge. The abrasive layer may be sand paper glued to the compressible layer or as in one embodiment, directly sprayed onto the compressible layer.

The leg(s) are configured for removably securing the apparatus into a fixed position against a surface. Abstract: A nail file assembly includes a file sub-assembly that secures preferably to an index of a human hand. The sub-assembly has a flexible sheet having an outer surface that carries an abrasive layer and an opposite inner surface that preferably carries at least in-part a fastener for securing the sheet to the index. With the sub-assembly secured to the index, the remaining indexes of the hand are free to manipulate and support the indexes of an uncooperative fauna that carry respective nails to be filed. When filing, the index of the assembly and which carryies the sub-assembly is free to pivot back and forth across the nail of the fauna.

Abstract: Foot buffing mat with a rectangular mat, a right ball of foot buffing portion, a left ball of foot buffing portion, a right heal of foot buffing portion, a left heal of foot buffing portion, a plurality of suction cups, the suction cups attached to the underside of the rectangular mat, and the buffing portions attached to the mat so that they correspond with the correlating under foot portions of a user's feet. A preferred embodiment includes the ball of foot buffing portions are each elliptical in shape and rise from the mat to a maximum height of one inch.

A recess is defined in the first handle and communicates an opening defined in a second end of the first handle. A second set has a second handle and a second scrubbing stick connected to a first end of the second handle. The second set is removably received in the recess. A ring is mounted to an outer periphery of the second handle and engaged with an inner periphery of the recess.

Abstract: Disclosed is a rotary container with separable nail files, which comprises an upper plate, a lower plate, a file plate rotatably interposed between the upper plate and the lower plate, and a rotary hub inserted through the upper plate, the file plate, and the lower plate. The upper plate has a separation opening extending radially outward from a center of the upper plate. The file plate includes a plurality of file pieces partitioned by a plurality of cutting lines, and each of the cutting lines extends radially outward from a center of the file plate. Each of the file pieces has such a dimension as to be completely exposed through the separation opening, so that each of the file pieces can be pulled up and separated from the file plate through the separation opening. The file plate comprises a base sheet, a cushion sheet attached to one surface of the base sheet, and a file sheet attached to the cushion sheet, the file sheet practically functioning as a nail file.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for tooling and locking a handle to a pedicure blade is disclosed. The method and apparatus member presents an entire surface of the pedicure member to be available for use, the curving of the surface allows easy access to calluses in hard to reach areas, the blade thus may be sanitized in a disinfectant and the size of the blade is more convenient for storage.

Abstract: A hand held massage device comprising a main body having a top housing and a bottom housing, a vibration source and a vibration surface. The vibration source comprises a bracket having a channel extending longitudinally therethrough, an arm extending axially out from the channel and a motor seated within the channel. The bracket, arm and motor are structured to be retained within an interior chamber formed by the top and bottom housings. The vibration surface comprises a vibration application tool having a first end structured to be removably inserted in a coupling channel on the arm and an opposite second end structured to receive at least one finger thereon and to transmit vibrations to such fingers.

Abstract: The basic apparatus includes an abrasive layer and a grid. The grid is installed over the abrasive layer, a shorter distance from it along one of its edges and a greater distance from it at the opposite edge. The shorter distance is about ⅛ inch and the longer distance ⅜ of an inch. One quarter inch hardware cloth is an acceptable grid material. Preferably the apparatus is mounted on a generally vertical surface near a litter box, such as on the inside of a wall of a covered litter box. The abrasive surface may be replaceable and faces the grid and cats use the abrasive surface and grid simultaneously.
