Sinking Or Bucket Type Float Patents (Class 137/190)
  • Patent number: 6164332
Abstract: An apparatus designed to manufacture a relatively large quantity of living water for a home or business. The apparatus includes a plurality of ampuls longitudinally aligned and connected together to enable the water delivered to the upper ampul to flow in a vortex pattern from the upper ampul to the lower ampul. Each ampul has a water dispensing unit which facilitates the flow of the water in a vortex pattern therein. Each ampul includes a longitudinally aligned neck with several pairs of magnets longitudinally aligned on the neck that create magnetic fields around the water as it flows in a vortex pattern through the neck. The apparatus is designed to be connected to a household water supply system and includes an optional holding tank and control valve.

  • Patent number: 5386652
Abstract: A cylinder and piston rod guard attachment for a backhoe or the like. The cylinder and piston rod guard is arranged to extend over the cylinder housing and the associated piston rod as it extends therefrom to protect the extended piston rod. A U-shaped inverted channel sleeve configuration extends from the attached end of the piston rod and is supported in sliding spaced relation above the cylinder housing by support tracks secured to the cylinder housing. As the rod advances out of the cylinder housing, the cylinder guard extends therewith protecting same.

  • Patent number: 4580592
Abstract: Open vessel separator valve has ballasted, hollow-cavitied float disposed above oil/water inlet orifice. Float having large net mass floats in water and sinks in oil. Liquid passes through spillways of sinking float into said float cavity and fills same. Sunken float applies downward force upon sealing means located thereunder, thereby closing oil/water inlet orifice. Device can be reset by draining liquid from sunken float.

  • Patent number: 4096876
Abstract: A condensate controller comprising an inverted bucket steam trap having a blow-thru tube for continuously discharging non-condensable gas, flash steam and perhaps a limited amount of live steam, at a controlled rate. The condensate controller has a chamber located below and isolated from the compartment in which the inverted bucket is located. The chamber receives the incoming condensate and vapor from the inlet pipe so that the condensate level in the inlet pipe can be lowered and so that pressure surges in the inlet pipe can be cushioned and absorbed. The blow-thru pipe has a concavo-convex deflector for improving the separation of liquid from the vapor that flows through the blow-thru conduit.
