Abstract: A conduit coupling can have a male portion and a female portion, with each portion having an internal biasing member. When the male portion is disconnected from the female portion, the internal biasing member in the male portion can cause a seal on a moveable plug to be biased against a lip of a stationary wall member to seal liquid from leaking out of the male portion. Also, the internal biasing member in the female portion can cause a lip of a moveable wall member to be biased against a seal that is connected to a stationary plug. Both the stationary plug and moveable plug can be connected to retaining portions by strips that are disposed away from an axis of the conduit coupling.

Abstract: A first vapor phase valve including a housing, a flow passage in the housing, a main valve to block or open the flow passage, and an excess flow valve to block the flow passage when vapor phase dimethyl ether flows through the flow passage. The first vapor phase valve includes: a pressure chamber communicating with a pressure opening portion of the housing and a fixed shaft connected to the excess flow valve to maintain the excess flow valve in an open state by using pressure of liquid phase dimethyl ether flowing into the pressure chamber from the pressure opening portion. The excess flow valve, in order to prevent fluid from flowing out at a specified flow rate or more, can be forcedly opened.

Abstract: A telescopic drain hose assembly. The assembly includes a drain conduit having a tank coupler coupled to a first end and an end piece coupled to a second end. The tank coupler is configured for coupling to a grey or black waste discharge port, such as that of a recreational vehicle. The endpiece includes coupling elements for coupling with a pipe elbow or similar attachment. A handle is provided on the endpiece for positioning the endpiece in proximity to a waste receptacle port. The drain conduit is disposed within an outer housing comprised of a telescopic tube and a flexible sleeve. The flexible sleeve is adjacent the first end of the drain conduit and enables flexure or bending of the assembly.

Abstract: A bulk adhesive transfer system for transferring adhesive particulate to a melter includes a bulk supply and a transfer device, which may define a hopper of the melter, a mobile bin, and/or a buffer unit. The transfer device is configured to receive unmelted adhesive particulate from the bulk supply and then be selectively docked with the melter to transfer the adhesive particulate to the melter. The bulk adhesive transfer system may also include a knife gate valve device, which includes a plurality of ports that sequentially open and close to control flow of the adhesive particulate towards the melter. The bulk adhesive transfer system simplifies refilling operations for a melter while enabling continuous operation of the melter, even when the transfer device is undocked for removal from the melter.

Abstract: Flow distribution networks that supply process gas to two or more stations in a multi-station deposition chamber. Each flow distribution network includes an inlet and flow distribution lines for carrying process gas to the stations. The flow distribution lines include a branch point downstream from the inlet and two or more branches downstream from the branch point. Each branch supplies a station. The flow distribution network also includes highly variable flow elements in each branch. Restrictive components are placed downstream from the variable control elements in each branch. These restrictive components are nominally identical and designed to shift the bulk of the pressure drop away from the variable flow components to improve flow balancing while not unduly increasing inlet pressure. In some cases, the load shifting allows the more variable flow components to operate in the unchoked flow regime.
