  • Patent number: 11746548
Abstract: The invention comprises an adjustable valve system, apparatus and method using an adjustable drum assembly that can be used in conjunction with a blower or pump to drive air into and out of the drum assembly, wherein the adjustable valve system is useful in connection with operating wave generator caissons for wave pools. The present system preferably comprises an inner drum coaxially aligned and rotatably positioned within an outer drum, wherein side openings are provided on the inner and outer drums which can be aligned together to allow air to flow into and/or out of the drum assembly. That way, by adjusting the position of the inner drum relative to the outer drum, the valve system can enable the air to flow either into or out of the drum assembly and therefore the associated caisson. The system can be used to introduce positive or negative air pressure in the caisson and create waves in a wave pool.

  • Patent number: 10434533
Abstract: A device for supplying at least one sprayer with a liquid coating product comprises a plurality of valves for controlling the flow of the coating product to the sprayer, these valves being aligned along a principal axis of the supply device. Each valve comprises a moving needle, a valve body, pneumatic driver for moving the needle in translation, the driver comprising a piston constrained to move in translation with the needle and slidably mounted in a guide body. The principal axis and the separation/approach axis of a valve coincide at a unique point and together define a principal plane of the valve. The separation/approach axis of each valve is contained within a cone centered on an axis perpendicular to the principal axis and belonging to the principal plane of the valve, the apex of the cone being coincident with the unique point.

  • Patent number: 10323797
Abstract: During the production of consumable liquids such as milk, soup, and juice, the liquid consumable may be transferred from one location to another location through a fluid conduit. For example, a consumable liquid may be transferred from a storage tank to another destination through piping. At the end of the process, the piping may be purged with a flushing fluid to push the liquid consumable remaining in the piping to the end destination, thus preventing the volume of liquid remaining in the piping from being wasted. To control the flushing processing, fluid flowing through the piping may be fluorometrically analyzed to determine a concentration of product in the fluid. The flushing liquid can then be controlled based on the determined concentration. For example, the supply of flushing liquid may be terminated when the concentration of product falls below a threshold, indicating the flushing liquid is diluting the liquid consumable.

  • Patent number: 10233071
Abstract: A novel fluid dispenser system is described. The system is comprised of a plurality of connectors that each connect to one a plurality of fluid supply containers and, once connected, hold a valve on the supply container in an opened position. The connectors are connected, using flexible tubing, to a valve manifold that selectively dispenses fluid from each of the supply containers. The system provides a means of selectively and safely delivering fluid from large and ungainly supply containers without the need for lifting or otherwise manipulating the supply container itself. The system is especially useful in delivering laundry detergent and other additives from supply containers to a washing machine in a home use application.
