The second fluid flow path has one end that is configured to be aligned with the annular collection groove and another end that is configured to be aligned with a stator opening along the outer ring.

In this way, the semiconductor wafer is polished utilizing the heated polishing pad, such as by a tungsten CMP process.

The primary advantage of the PDMS is its ability to detect and measure “micro” flow rates. The PDMS allows the water utility to bill for all water consumed by the customer. The PDMS will only allow 100% detectable flow rates to pass through the water meter attached. Flow rates which are undetectable, or only partially detectable will be accounted for. The PDMS will report the sum of the two meters to the utility. The PDMS will also function as a leak detection device and water conservation tool, will perform automatic or remotely controlled functions like turning off water, when a high flow leak is detected, and report directly to the water utility or tenant of the property being monitored.

    Abstract: Described herein is an autonomous fluid spill containment device for a pipeline having a carrier conduit for transporting a fluid and a containment conduit located around the carrier conduit to define an interstitial space for receiving fluid spilled from the carrier conduit. The device comprises a spilled fluid barrier for stopping spilled fluid flow. The fluid barrier is located in the interstitial space and extending between the carrier conduit and the containment conduit. A spilled fluid sensor is located in the interstitial space to detect spilled fluid flowing in the containment conduit. A network monitor that interfaces for communicating with an operator's data collection, analysis and reporting systems. A sensor network is connected to the fluid sensor for communicating spilled fluid sensor and location data from the sensor to the network monitor so as to alert the operator to the location of the spilled fluid in real time.
