Abstract: A housing for a dispensing tube of a metering dispenser comprises a mounting half and a strike half carried by the mounting half. A channel for a dispensing tube is defined in the mounting half, and a plunger aperture is defined through the channel. The strike half pivots, relative to the mounting half, between a first pivotal position at least partially covering the channel and a second pivotal position exposing the channel and also slides relative to the mounting half, at least when the strike half is in the first pivotal position, between a first slide position obstructing pivotal movement of the strike half out of the first pivotal position and a second slide position permitting such movement. When the strike half is in the first pivotal position and the first slide position, a plunger strike surface on the strike half is in registration with and facing the plunger aperture.

Abstract: Diaphragm joint and convolutions, bottom screen diffuser, air stern, cap, and diaphragm restrictor systems for a pressure vessel are disclosed. A convoluted diaphragm divides the vessel into a pair of sealed chambers. The convoluted geometry of the diaphragm minimizes stress on the diaphragm at maximum displacement conditions. An H-ring, with or without being over-molded by the convoluted diaphragm, may be configured to receive end portions of the tank liners. A bottom diffuser, coupled to an inlet of the vessel, diffuses and mixes water flowing into and out of the vessel and drains water out of the vessel. Fiberglass windings surround and lock the tank liners in tension. The cap system includes a valve cap that engages an air stem. An outer cap covers a recess of the vessel and includes a hollow cavity that receives the valve cap. A diaphragm restrictor limits upward movement of the diaphragm within the vessel.

Abstract: A security device is configured to limit access and prevent removal of a backflow preventer connected to a fire hydrant. The security device includes an upper enclosure rotationally and detachably coupled to a lower enclosure. The upper enclosure has an upper enclosure left end and the lower enclosure comprises a lower enclosure left end each being configured to accommodate a portion of the fire hydrant. An upper access door is attached to the upper enclosure and permits and restricts access to the backflow preventer. A side door is attached to the lower enclosure and permits and restricts access to the backflow preventer to install a hose to the backflow preventer. A plurality of height adjustment legs are attached to the lower enclosure to adjust a height of the lower enclosure from ground and to carry weight of the security device which avoids plastic deformation of the backflow preventer.
