The supply nozzle fluidly communicates with a supply port and intermittently fluidly communicates with an output port of the lower housing through an internal fluid passageway. The lower housing further comprises an exhaust nozzle fluidly communicating with an exhaust port and intermittently fluidly communicates with the output port of the lower housing through the internal fluid passageway. The upper housing assembly comprises an upper housing configured to receive a coil and an armature such that the upper housing, coil and armature define a latching electromagnetic circuit that provides alternating contact of the armature with the supply nozzle and the exhaust nozzle of the lower housing assembly.

    Abstract: A mixer cartridge for insertion into the basic body of a fitting contains a bottom making the water connection with the basic body of the fitting. This bottom is guided so as to be displaceable to some extent with respect to the cartridge housing. In the initial state, this bottom is positioned such that the seals present between it and the mixer system are compressed to an extent such that sufficient sealing-off takes place in the case of a low water pressure. It is arranged so as to be displaceable with respect to the cartridge housing in the direction of an increasing compression of these seals. Consequently, in the case of an increasing water pressure, a higher compression of the seals and therefore an increasing sealing action are made possible.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a lateral draft tube for a water control valve core, which is defined by a through-type groove and upper and lower openings. The through-type groove is sleeved around the shell of the water control valve core. The upper and lower portions have different diameters on the external wall of the draft tube. A ring flange is formed on the upper portion, and a guide ring surface is formed on the lower portion. The ring flange is provided with a sealing ring, and a drainage portion is arranged at the lower end of the draft tube to connect the through-type groove and guide ring surface. The draft tube can be located higher than the water control valve core, such that upward flow of the guide ring surface is not limited by the water control valve core. Thus, the upward flow of the water control valve core improves.

As pressure increases at the inflow side of the header, the flapper valve opens proportionally, and, as pressure decreases at the inflow side, the flapper valve closes proportionally. The flapper valve is preferably included as part of a service cartridge assembly to facilitate easy repair and/or replacement of the flapper valve. In some embodiments of the invention, a differential pressure is measured between the inflow and outflow sides, and activation of the heat exchanger is initiated in response to the differential pressure having exceeded a set point.

    Abstract: A constant flow rate valve has a housing in which a rotatable sleeve is positioned between the valve's inlet and outlet. Apertures in the sleeve move into alignment with the valve's inlet and outlet upon sleeve rotation to establish the fluid flow rate. A piston is movable longitudinally within the sleeve bore. The piston has openings which align with the apertures in the sleeve upon longitudinal motion of the piston. Pressure ducts connect each end of the sleeve to the inlet and outlet. The piston moves in response to relative pressure changes in the inlet and outlet communicated by the pressure ducts. The area of overlap between the piston's openings and the sleeve's apertures varies with piston motion to ensure a constant flow rate in spite of relative inlet and outlet pressure changes. The ends of the sleeve are in fluid communication to control the response sensitivity of the piston.
