Downstream Cyclic Distributor Patents (Class 137/565.27)
  • Patent number: 9931269
Abstract: A digital display air pump includes a rectangular, box-shaped body having a standard AC power cord extending from it, two air supply output ports, and a control and information panel located on its front side with user-operated buttons, a digital display for showing air pressure and alarm codes, a variable air pressure set dial, and status lights. Within the hollow interior of the body is an air compressor, a dual-output electromechanical valve having to two air output tubes, an air pressure sensor, an AC power connection, an internal loudspeaker, and an electronic circuit board controlling the digital display air pump's function. The air supply output ports, an extension of the air tubes within the body, supply air to Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (“IPC”) Therapy device garments through flexible air supply tubes.

  • Patent number: 9668932
Abstract: A portable micro air pump includes a body, an air output port and a quick-disconnect air tube connector. The body is hand-sized, and has a user control and information panel with a power on/off button switch and a button switch for choosing which type of therapy garment is to be utilized, limb or foot. Status lights within the information panel show on/off and battery status, the therapy garment selected and alarm states of which the user needs to be aware. Within the body are an air compressor with an air output tube, a battery power source, and an electronic circuit board. The electronic circuit board has functional subunits including: a controller, a timer, a memory, an input/output interface, a pressure sensor, a status light driver and a power control driver.

  • Publication number: 20140166134
Abstract: Embodiments provided herein describe pumps and methods for pumping fluids. A first fixed valve has a passageway extending therethrough with first and second ends. The first fixed valve is configured to allow fluid flow through the passageway towards the second end thereof and at least partially restrict fluid flow towards the first end thereof. A pumping structure is in fluid communication with the second end of the passageway of the first fixed valve. A second fixed valve has a passageway extending therethrough with third and fourth ends. The second fixed valve is configured to allow fluid flow through the passageway towards the fourth end thereof and at least partially restrict fluid flow towards the third end thereof. The third end of the passageway of the second fixed valve is in fluid communication with the pumping structure and the second end of the passageway of the first fixed valve.

  • Publication number: 20110036428
Abstract: The liquid distribution system includes a tank with a standpipe extending upwardly therefrom. A three-way pipefitting or the like is installed at the top of the standpipe. A selectively openable shutoff valve is below the three-way fitting. A flexible hose extends from another branch of the fitting. Another openable shutoff valve is installed between the fitting and the hose. Finally, a pump (electric, manual, hydraulic, etc.) is installed on the third branch of the fitting, with a meter, filter, hose, and dispensing nozzle installed downstream of the pump. The system is particularly useful in removing fuel from a motor vehicle or aircraft tank for transfer to another tank or its own system tank, or in dispensing fuel stored in the system tank to another vehicle tank. The system may, alternatively, be used for the transfer of other liquids from one tank or source to another.

  • Publication number: 20090301735
Abstract: A fire fighting fluid delivery device includes a device body with an inlet, a discharge outlet, and a fluid passageway extending between the inlet and the discharge outlet. A movable member is mounted at the body and movable between at least two positions relative to the outlet. The movable member includes at least two spaced apart transverse openings, with each of the transverse openings for selectively aligning with the discharge outlet when the movable member is moved between the at least two positions.
