In one embodiment, the aeration control valve system includes a control valve unit configured for connection to a brine tank but instead fluidly coupled to an air intake inlet and an air release outlet for supplying and releasing air, respectively, when the valve cycle actuator is in the brine position and brine tank fill position, respectively.

    Abstract: A buffer unit is configured to store and transfer adhesive particulate to at least one adhesive melter. A vibration generating mechanism is coupled to the agitator plate so that vibration is transmitted into the adhesive particulate to form a flow of fluidized adhesive particulate which flows toward at least one pump inlet. The buffer unit breaks up clumps of coalesced adhesive particulate to avoid clogging the pump inlet, while also ensuring that all adhesive particulate in the buffer bin can be removed at the pump inlet. Additionally, makeup air used by pumps to generate vacuum at the pump inlet does not need to be drawn through the entire bulk supply of adhesive particulate.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for electrostatic discharge mitigation for a fuel module. In one embodiment, the system includes a fuel pump having a power and ground connection for pumping fuel. A fuel filter in fluid communication with the fuel pump, the fuel filter including one or more components made of a non-conductive plastic and having a sulfonated surface covered with a conductive surface formed over the sulfonated surface. The conductive surface is electrically coupled to the vehicle ground plane. A method is provided for mitigation of electrostatic discharge in a fuel module. In one embodiment, the method includes sulfonating non-conductive plastic components of the fuel module to provide a sulfonated layer on the non-conductive plastic components and forming a conductive layer over the sulfonated layer to provide an electrical discharge path for electrostatic buildup resulting from fuel moving through the fuel module.

    Abstract: The device provides mechanism for aiding scent detection canine to detect explosive or other contraband that are deemed to be in a person's possession. The device operates upon the idea of air tracking. The person enters in a collapsible non-porous covered metal frame, stands directly under a 2 by 2 plastic exhaust fan that pushes air down the person's body. At the bottom of the device are 2 vents with 2×2 dimensions on each side with 2×2 fans that draw the air out into a 1×1 silver foil exhaust tube. A 4×4 non-porous box with an opening is connected to the exhaust tube for the canine to sniff the air and alert his handler if there is a presence of explosive or other contraband. The person will then exit at the back of the device.
