  • Patent number: 6220289
Abstract: A hydraulic valve arrangement with locking and floating function, with a control valve (9), which, for two operating positions (11, 12) connects one motor connection (A) with a pump connection and a second motor connection (B) with a tank connection and vice versa, in a floating position (13) connects both motor connections (A, B) with the tank connection and in a locking position (10) separates both motor connections (A, B) from the pump and tank connections. Further, there are two closing valves (16, 17), each being connected between the control valve (9) and a motor connection (A, B) and each having a piston loaded by a spring and limiting a spring chamber, the spring chambers being pressure releasable. Characteristic of this valve arrangement is that lifting valves (18, 19) are provided for the pressure release, which valves are operated by a control pressure depending on the position of the control valve (9). This improves the operating reliability.

  • Patent number: 6209563
Abstract: An engine oil solenoid control valve includes a molded one-piece valve nozzle and coil bobbin member that defines a valve nozzle and a solenoid coil bobbin and also defines an integral check valve receiving receptacle at an exhaust port and first and second valve seats for controlling valve stroke. A ball valve is disposed between the valve seats. A simple cylindrical armature rod can be used together with molded integral recesses that balance hydraulic pressure on the armature to prevent a hydraulic lock condition.

  • Patent number: 6202672
Abstract: A valve assembly for an air mattress having a common actuator on a manifold between opposed supply and exhaust valves moving the valves along their actuating axis. The system includes a plurality of actuator/valve combinations for different portions of the air mattress. A pulsating valve is provided which includes a housing having therein supply and exhaust valves each directly controlled by supply and exhaust solenoids. The solenoids are of an improved design.

  • Patent number: 6196247
Abstract: A valve assembly for actuation of a user and a method for actuation of the valve assembly, wherein a supply throttle device and a drain throttle device may be actuated independent of each other, is disclosed. In the case of single-action users, the drain throttle device is actuated such that the open cross-section of the drain throttle is maximum upon attaining the desired volumetric flow of hydraulic oil, so that the energy losses in the drain conduit are reduced to minimum.

  • Patent number: 6186172
Abstract: A directional control valve system is provided in conjunction with a hydraulic actuator, using a meter-in flow control valve that is simple in structure to permit pressure fluid to be fed into a first and a second chamber of the hydraulic actuator. The directional control valve system includes a meter-in flow control valve 1 for establishing and blocking fluid communication of a pump port with an outlet port 12, a first and a second load checking valve 2 and 3 that is in fluid communication with the outlet port 12, and a meter-out flow control valve 4 for establishing fluid communication of one of a first and a second actuator port 72 and 74 at an output side of the first and second load checking valves 2 and 3 with a tank port 71, and has an arrangement that permits the first and second load checking valves 2 and 3 to be held in a closed state with pressure fluid.
