Abstract: The inventive provides an upright dispenser which has an attachment end for attaching the dispenser to a container for holding material to be dispensed, the attachment end having a passageway which communicates with the container, a dispensing tub having upper and lower through holes which connect to the attachment end passageway, the upper through holes providing a vent and the lower through hole providing a path for the material to be dispensed. The attachment end passageway has a sealing flange positioned below the upper and lower through holes in the dispensing tube. The attachment end has a top end with an elastic button, the elastic button being connected to a valve stem, the valve stem extending in the passageway and having a valve end which sealing engages with the sealing flange when the elastic button is in an undepressed position.
Abstract: A system for endoscopic ultrasound guided drainage includes an access sheath extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and including an access lumen extending therethrough from the proximal end to the distal end; a stylet slidably received within the access lumen, the stylet extending longitudinally from a proximal end to distal end and including a channel extending therethrough, the channel configured to receive a fluid therethrough; and a dilating sheath extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and including a dilating lumen extending therethrough. The dilating lumen is sized and shaped to slidably receive the access sheath.

Abstract: The invention is an automatic heat-source shut-off system for cooking stoves. When a burner's flame is turned on, or an electric stove's heating element is turned on, the invention begins a timed sequence that upon expiring causes the heat-source control shaft to be returned to the heat-off position.
Abstract: An anchor valve for security is disclosed. The anchor valve includes a check valve with a flapper for preventing a contaminant from entering the fluid supply system. Contaminants that are outboard of the anchor valve are unable to pass by and are expelled when the fluid supply valve is opened. The anchor valve may include an access cover for maintenance and inspection of the flapper and the check valve.
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein relates in part to selectively shutting off the flow of water through a water supply pipe to a building, such as in the event of a broken water pipe. The embodiments disclosed herein also optionally discontinue electrical power to a water heater to minimize the risk of water heater elements burning out in the event a water heater is at the risk of being drained of water, such as due to a broken water pipe.
Abstract: An improved self contained automatic bladder control device includes a valve assembly mount for releasibly receiving a valve assembly. The preferably cylindrical mount has a textured outer surface designed to interact with urethral tissue. Thus the mount can be placed nonsurgically into a urethra and in time it will be held against movement by the tissue interaction with the textured outer surface, yet the mount will still be removable without surgery. Two embodiments of valve assemblies are disclosed, each of which provides a sphincter-like operation of the bladder control apparatus. A first embodiment is designed to use Bernoulli's law to hold open the valve apparatus after a short period of muscle contraction. The second embodiment is designed to use the fact that the force generated by hydrostatic pressure is directly related to the area on which it impinges, to accomplish the desired valve holding period.
