Patent number: 9700487Abstract: A medical container includes: a container body, a mouth section through which liquid can enter and exit, a proximal-end opening, and a proximal-end edge portion surrounding the proximal-end opening; a plug body that seals the mouth section; a bag body having a bag-like shape and including an edge portion that is tightly fixed to the proximal-end edge portion and seals the proximal-end opening, and a reversing part which is surrounded by the edge portion, has flexibility, and is reversed inside/outside; and a space surrounded by the container body, the plug body and the bag body. The reversing part is reversed inside/outside when the liquid enters and exits the space through the mouth section, whereby the reversing part can take a first state in which the reversing part expands toward a distal end side, and a second state in which the reversing part expands toward the proximal end side.Type: GrantFiled: March 6, 2014Date of Patent: July 11, 2017Assignee: Terumo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Masaomi Imai, Takaaki Hiranuma

Patent number: 9303774Abstract: The invention relates to a valve assembly that can be provided of a length to meet conventional fitting dimensions and requirements. The valve assembly includes a valve body housing, at least first and second valve balls. Between the first and second valve balls are provided first and second valve seats. The valve seats are biased towards their respective valve balls. The valve seats, that lie between the valve balls, are typically provided as part of a common valve seat assembly that includes springs and the like.Type: GrantFiled: May 13, 2010Date of Patent: April 5, 2016Assignee: Xamol Ltd.Inventor: Stuart Lomax

Patent number: 8539979Abstract: A two-stage solenoid valve for an electropneumatic valve control unit, e.g., a pilot control unit of a pressure modulator, includes a solenoid system to which a first and second current intensity can be applied as well as a solenoid valve device with a primary side connectable to a first compressed-air supply and a secondary side connectable to a second compressed-air supply. A primary valve encompassing an adjustable primary armature biased by a primary armature spring is provided on the primary side, and a secondary valve encompassing an adjustable secondary armature biased by a secondary armature spring is provided on the secondary side. The solenoid valve device can be a valve cartridge insertable from one side. Diameters of a front (in relation to insertion direction) region and a central region of the valve cartridge are smaller than or equal to the diameter of a rear region of the valve cartridge.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 2007Date of Patent: September 24, 2013Assignee: WABCO GmbHInventors: Dieter Frank, Juan Rovira-Rifaterra, Armin Sieker, Andreas Teichmann

Patent number: 8240328Abstract: A centralized automatic fluid or gas spill prevention and shut-off valve system that prevents line ruptures comprising means to reduce fluid pressures, such as gas, to appropriate levels, a continuous monitoring of downstream conditions, an immediate stop system of major spillage caused by excessive flow wherein said immediate stop system automatically shuts off the flow of fluids, means for timed shut off of minor fluid flows that exceed a predetermined amount of time and a restarting system that restarts when overflow conditions are corrected, wherein said restarting system works automatically or manually.Type: GrantFiled: October 19, 2009Date of Patent: August 14, 2012Inventor: Luis Guillermo Ramirez-Diaz

Patent number: 8181757Abstract: An adjustable damping valve including an actuator, which exerts an actuating force on a valve body against the force of a spring to influence the throttle cross section which determines the damping force, where an emergency valve is connected in parallel with the throttle cross section with respect to the flow direction of the damping medium, where the two control surfaces of the valve body move in the axial direction and can thus can come to rest alternately on the two valve seating surfaces, and where the valve body is divided into two parts in the longitudinal direction, and each valve body assembly has its own control surface.Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 2007Date of Patent: May 22, 2012Assignee: ZF Friedrichshafen AGInventors: Steffen Heyn, Bernd Zeissner

Publication number: 20110309279Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are designed to interface between a package, either rigid or flexible and an apparatus to push a seal valve from the housing. Once the container is inserted into the “nest” with valve, opened fluid flow is achieved. Once the container with the valve is removed from the “nest” the valve will self close, with no operator interaction to stop flow of the product.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 21, 2011Publication date: December 22, 2011Applicant: David S. Smith America, Inc. DBA Worldwide DispensersInventors: James L. Richards, Loren J. Brelje, Dean A. Ruzicka

Patent number: 7905557Abstract: A valve control unit including three valve units for two brake channels of an electropneumatic brake system is provided. Each valve unit is embodied as a valve modulator device for a braking pressure control circuit including an air inlet valve with a primary solenoid and a bleed valve with a secondary solenoid. Each modulator device armature includes a common solenoid guide arrangement controlled by the magnetic flux of a common magnetic coil. Independent operation of the armatures is achieved whereby flux through the secondary solenoid is weakened by a shunt in the flux circuit which causes a switching delay for the secondary solenoid relative to the primary solenoid. The magnetic resistance of a non-magnetic disc effects switch-off acceleration in the flux circuit with energized secondary solenoid, weakens the field and causes the secondary solenoid to revert to a spring-loaded base state at a higher flux than the primary solenoid.Type: GrantFiled: July 5, 2005Date of Patent: March 15, 2011Assignee: WABCO GmbHInventors: Dieter Frank, Juan Rovira-Rifaterra, Armin Sieker, Andreas Teichmann
