Abstract: A heat exchanger includes a first regenerator core and a second regenerator core and a four-way valve coupled to a cold section of the first regenerator core and to a cold section of the second regenerator core. The four-way valve directs input air to the first regenerator core or to the second regenerator core. A high-temperature passive check valve is coupled to a hot section of the first regenerator core and to a hot section of the second regenerator core. The high-temperature passive check valve comprises an inlet header coupled to the hot section of the first regenerator core or the second regenerator core, a valve poppet coupled to a valve stem and a valve seat located on a surface parallel to a surface of the valve poppet. Air entering the inlet header moves the valve poppet away from the valve seat, creating an opening through which air passes.

Abstract: A changeover valve assembled with an air compressor includes a valve base, a positioning base, a positioning plate, a shaft, a cover and a rotating knob, a first conduit and a second conduit. The valve base has a chamber communicating with two rooms respectively. The valve base has three connectors; the middle one is connected with an outlet tube of the air compressor and the other two ones are respectively connected with a conduit. The positioning base and the positioning plate have their outer walls fixed with insertion blocks. The shaft has a forcing block fitted in the positioning base. With the rotating knob turned rightward or leftward, the forcing block can be eccentrically whirled to push the positioning base to move aside in the chamber to keep one passage sealed and the other passage unsealed, so air can inflate a tire or pump tire sealant into the tire.

Abstract: A flow path switching valve is provided, in which an impact due to the pressure change when a flow path is switched is prevented from being generated. (A) A rotor slot 1c allows an analysis infusion pump 11 to be connected to an analytical column 13, so as to form a flow path (condensing procedure). (B) The rotor of the flow path switching valve 1 is rotated clockwise for 30 degrees, the rotor slot 1c allows the analysis infusion pump 11, the analytical column 13, and a trap column 5 be connected. After the pressure in the trap column 5 is raised to the same pressure level as that of the analytical column 13, the pressure is stabilized, and the pressure difference between the two columns 5 and 13 is counteracted (high-pressure procedure).

The water inlet is placed centrally onto the fixed valve and base, so that one end of the through-flow slot of rotary valve is normally linked to the water inlet. The other end is adapted to different water outlets depending upon the rotation angle of the rotary valve. The water inlet and outlet of the water diverter are incorporated into the bottom of the water diverter, and water flow within fixed valve and rotary valve of ceramic materials is separated from other structural members. The valve can fulfil different fluid analytical functions and can be a multi-ports and/or multi-positions valve. The valve is provided with extra recesses in the rotor and extra ports in the stator. These recesses allow to cancel the effect of any possible leaks by evacuating them. Such a valve then prevents cross-port leaks and can advantageously be used in highly critical applications. Moreover, the present valve can be used in an analytical system which is advantageously self-diagnostic.
