  • Patent number: 11898656
Abstract: A valve bonnet defines a packing box having an inner surface Roughness Average (Ra) of 0.15 or less, for example, between 0.10 and 0.15. Multiple Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) packing rings are in a packing stack. A packer is bolted to the bonnet and extends into the packing box. The packer is configured to apply a packing pressure on the packing, for example, between 100 megapascals (MPa) and 200 MPa. Such arrangements can allow for high pressure valves, for example valves that can retain up to 10,000 pounds per square inch (PSI) of pressure or up to 15,000 PSI.

  • Patent number: 11624535
Abstract: A refrigerant metering system/method incorporating a manual expansion valve (MEV), condenser isolation valve (CIV), flow isolation valve (FIV), and evaporator isolation valve (EIV) is disclosed. The MEV is configured to replace a conventional automated expansion valve (AEV) that controls a refrigerant flow valve (RFV) that is positioned in a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system between a refrigerant condenser coil (RCC) and a refrigerant evaporator coil (REC) and permits manual metering of refrigerant by the RFV from the RCC to the REC and also allows complete shutoff of refrigerant flow by the RFV from the RCC to the REC. The MEV allows rapid HVAC repair and restoration of service where a replacement AEV is not readily available. The CIV/FIV/EIV are positioned in the refrigerant flow lines to permit the AEV and/or REC to be isolated from HVAC refrigerant flow for repairs to the AEV and/or REC.

  • Patent number: 11319699
Abstract: An intelligent drainage device includes a power supply unit, a water discharge key, drain assemblies, a motor drive unit and a control unit. The drain assembly, installed to a bathtub drain hole, includes a waterstop member, a stepping motor and a receiving tube. The receiving tube engages fixedly and oppositely the waterstop member and a power transmission shaft of the stepping motor. The control unit receives a start/stop signal from the water discharge key, then transmits the signal to the motor drive unit for controlling the power transmission shaft to drive the corresponding waterstop member to move upward or downward. In this device, with a simple touch at the water discharge key, the control unit would control the motor drive unit to activate the stepping motors so as to have all the drain assemblies at the respective drain holes to discharge simultaneously and rapidly the water inside a bathtub.

One or more valves are disposed between the plenum and the manifold. When opened, the valve(s) permit a stream of the gas at positive pressure to flow from the plenum into the manifold. A baffle is disposed in the manifold between the valve(s) and the exit port(s). The baffle obstructs each stream of gas entering the manifold such that the gas is reduced to substantially zero pressure in the manifold at the exit port(s).
