  • Patent number: 10882090
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for forming a hollow 26 of a ferritic FeCrAl alloy into a tube 2. While tubes made of powder metallurgical, dispersion hardened, ferritic FeCrAl alloys are commercially available, hollows made of FeCrAl alloys so far can hardly be formed into tubes of small dimensions. The major reason for the problems in forming hollows of a ferritic FeCrAI alloy into a finished product is that FeCrAl alloys are brittle. It is therefore an aspect of the present invention to provide a tube 2 made of a ferritic FeCrAl alloy having arbitrary small dimensions. Furthermore, it is an aspect of the present invention to provide a machine 1 and a method for forming a tubular hollow 26 into a finished tube 2 of a ferritic FeCrAl alloy. At least one of the above aspects is addressed by a method for forming a hollow into a tube 2 comprising the steps providing the hollow 26 of a ferritic FeCrAl alloy, heating the hollow 26 to a temperature in a range from 90° C. to 150° C.

A removable handle cap with a cap-exterior surface is installed over the channel opening in order to close off the storage channel. The handle cap is retained in place by a cap-restraining strip fabricated from a tear-resistant material. More specifically, a central portion of the cap-restraining strip is disposed over at least a portion of the cap-exterior surface, while portions of the cap-restraining strip on opposite sides of the central portion are disposed to extend along mutually opposite sides of the handle outer surface. A wrapper securely binds the portions of the cap-restraining strip located on opposite sides of the handle outer surface, thereby preventing removal of the handle cap without destruction of the wrapper.

Abstract: In a hose having a bent portion, a poor appearance part is prevented from being created in an inner round portion of the bent portion. A bent pipe has a bent portion located in an intermediate part in a longitudinal direction in which a cross section in a radial direction of a round of the bent portion is formed in a flat shape, and non-bent portions being continuous with the bent portion. The flat shape of the bent portion is a vertically long flat shape. With this configuration, when an unvulcanized hose is put on a mandrel and vulcanized, an inner round portion of the unvulcanized hose comes into tight contact with a bent portion of the mandrel and is not separated from the bent portion, so that the poor appearance part is hardly created in an inner round portion of the bent portion.

Abstract: A system for controlling temperature of intravenous fluids includes a thermal treatment device and a temperature sensing device to measure a temperature of the fluid flowing through the sensor. The temperature sensing device may simultaneously collect two temperature measurements. For example, the sensing device may include sensors that measure the temperature of the fluid at two disparate locations along the medical fluid line. Additionally, the sensors may measure the temperature of the fluid within the medical fluid line, as well as the ambient temperature outside of the line. The thermal treatment device includes a conduit configured to have a nonlinear flow path through the device. The thermal treatment device thermally treats fluid within the conduit to a desired temperature or range.
