The inflatable bag stopper assembly is inflated such that the inflatable bag or bags act or serve to obstruct, block, close, or otherwise effectively foreclose passage of the fluid through the pipe.

Based on the evaluation data obtained from the two modules an epoxy material is applied to the interior surface of the pipe using a spin cast machine that is drawn behind the two modules. Preferably, a layer of epoxy is applied to the interior surface of the host pipe to the appropriate thickness based on the pipe condition as determined by the two modules.

The rim 10 of the bag 1 is bowed inwardly to allow for limited ventilation of the otherwise-blocked chimney flue or duct.
