Abstract: A bar has interior and exterior ends. The bar has a projection depending from the interior end. The projection is adapted to be slidably supported between the ways. The assembly also includes a support positioned above the exterior end. The support includes a recess positioned above the bar. The support is adapted to receive and support a base of a mitre saw. A spacer is adapted to couple the support with respect to the bar.
