Abstract: An exercise machine includes a shaft configured to rotate about an axis; a spool configured to receive a strap and drive rotation of the shaft about the axis in response to movement of the strap; a flywheel configured to rotate about the axis; one or more conductive coils arranged to generate magnetic fields that induce eddy currents in the flywheel; a clutch configured to engage and disengage transmission of torque between the spool and the flywheel; and a spring arranged around the axis, the spring configured to exert a return torque on the spool about the axis in response to rotation of the shaft.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a method of producing a wooden package or container from an elongated piece of wood, e.g., a precut alder or birch piece (block). The invention is implemented by separating at least one essentially cylindrical, hollow blank (1) with the help of axial boring longitudinally from inside said block of wood, drying the blank and working its outer and inner surfaces by conventional wood-working techniques such as milling and turning to mutually concentric cylindrical surfaces of desired diameters, finishing said surfaces to desired smoothness by, e.g., sanding, and attaching to the cylindrical envelope piece thus obtained a bottom piece (2), and when required, also cover (3).
Abstract: An automatic machine for forming bee box components from wooden stock members by grouping the members in a single row and indexing them past several work stations at which the members are formed into the box components. The row of engaged members pass by the first cutting station where end grooves are cut in opposite ends of the individual members as they pass by. Guide bars then are received within the grooves and support the members as they are moved along to a second cutting station. At this station, angularly oriented milling heads form grooves along the longitudinal side edges of the stock members. The row is moved along in increments by an indexing mechanism that receives successive individual stock members from a feed mechanism. The indexing mechanism also includes a drilling assembly that functions to form longitudinally spaced holes through the members as they are received and indexed forwardly.
