Abstract: A chimney liner removal apparatus including a main chassis, a first telescoping front arm, a second telescoping front arm, a rear telescoping arm, a movable mass and an extendible excavator. The first telescoping front arm is fixedly connected to the main chassis and includes a first hollow member and a first extendible member within the first hollow member. The second telescoping front arm is fixedly connected to the main chassis and includes a second hollow member and a second extendible member within the second hollow member. The rear telescoping arm is fixedly connected to the main chassis and includes a third hollow member and a third extendible member within the third hollow member. The movable balance mass is arranged on the third hollow member. The extendible excavator assembly is pivotally connected to the main chassis opposite the rear telescoping arm.
Abstract: A method of restoring flow through an opening in a well, the opening being blocked by a plugging device, can include conveying a well tool into the well, contacting the plugging device with the well tool, and permitting flow through the opening as a result of the contacting step. Another method of restoring flow through an opening blocked by a plugging device in a well can include conveying a well tool into the well, reducing pressure in the well with the well tool, and permitting flow through the opening as a result of the pressure reducing step.

Abstract: A device for maintaining a pneumatic conveyance line can include a body having one or more wings. In some examples, the body is configured to be positioned between opposing rails of a pneumatic conveyance track with the one or more wings positioned on a respective opposing rail of the track. The wings can carry one or more agents for at least one of cleaning and lubricating the track. As the device is pushed along the track, the device can clean and/or lubricate the track.

Abstract: A soot trap for use in chimney cleaning which includes a soot trap housing having a bottom, a circumferential sidewall, and a top which together define an interior cavity. The bottom and the top have axially aligned push rod pass through openings. A closure is provided in one of the top or the bottom to provide access to the interior cavity of the housing. A sequential series of push rod wipers is stacked loosely in the interior cavity of the housing. Each push rod wiper has an opening that is in axial alignment with the push rod pass through openings, such that the sequential series of push rod wipers wipe soot into the interior cavity of the housing as a push rod passes through the push rod pass through openings.
Abstract: There is described an apparatus device for mechanically loosening scale inside a pipe arranged to convey hydrocarbon fluids from a production zone in a well, in which an actuator arranged in a housing includes an axially movable stem which extends through at least part of the housing and is provided with at least one cam, at least one cutting means is arranged radially movable in a recess in the housing, the cam bearing, by the axial movement of the actuator towards a first extreme position, against the cutting means, applying to it a push force directed radially outwards. There is also described a method of mechanically loosening scale inside a pipe arranged to convey hydrocarbon fluids from a production zone by using the apparatus.
Abstract: A squeegee holder including a self-cleaning sliding mechanism, a squeegee blade, two end caps at each end of the squeegee blade. The end caps include a flange and a hole. Two actuating motors are attached to the flanges, the motors include drive shafts pointing downwards. A wiper blade is attached to a blade mount slidable along the squeegee blade and a drill rod is secured at each end with press fittings into the holes in the end caps.
