Abstract: In a cleaning tool 1, a lock piece 50 provided to the other of a handle 10 and a main body 20 can be switched between a lock position and a lock release position, the lock piece 50 positioned in the lock position butts against a stopper face 41D of an engagement member 41 to retain the engagement member 41 in a position of engagement with the recessed face 36, and the lock piece 50 positioned in the lock release position separates from the stopper face 41D of the engagement member 41 to allow the engagement member 41 to resiliently move forward and backward.

Abstract: The broom having a bottom rod and an offset top rod is provided. Bristles are attached to the bottom of the bottom rod to contact a floor. Connecting the top and bottom rods is a grip rod. The grip rod desirably slants downward toward the floor when the broom bristles contact the floor. Desirably, the grip rod is attached at its bottom end to the bottom rod at an angle ? of from about 100° to about 150° preferably 100° to 140°. The grip rod is attached at its top end to the top rod at an angle ? of about 100° to about 150°, preferably 100° to 140°. As a result, the grip rod slants downward toward the floor when the broom bristles contact the floor. The grip rod is located a predetermined distance above the bristles so the grip bar can be grasped when the bristles contact the floor by the user in a standing position.

Abstract: This invention relates to providing a sweeping system incorporating at least one user-deployable scraper feature within a sweeping apparatus to assist in removing dried-on materials from at least one floor surface. The scraper feature is preferably spring tensioned within at least one housing and deployed through use of a manual extension of telescoping cylinders. Further featured is a rotation blocking mechanism to prevent rotation of the scraper while scraping.

The cleanroom mop includes a mop head frame with at least one hollow area within the mop head frame that is accessible by at least one opening located on the top of the mop head frame, a handle attached to the mop head frame, and a mop head that is attachable to the mop head frame which has opposing sides and at least one snap fastener on each of the opposing sides where the snap fasteners can be snapped together to connect the opposing sides of the mop head.

Abstract: A snow brush assembly is formed of a brush handle ergonomically designed, angled at each end thereof. These angles allow the user to stand clear of the vehicle and direct snow away from the person, keeping the person dry and clean. A brush head is attached at one end of the brush handle and includes a brush holder with a brush that can be positioned at various angles relative to the brush handle. A protective cover is selectively installed over the brush and is provided with squeegee. An ice scraper is removably attached to another end of the brush handle.

Abstract: The system for an extendable handheld trowel is a tool with interchangeable blades and an extendable handle. The system comprises a plurality of trowels, a first shaft, a second shaft, and a telescopic lock mechanism. Each trowel comprises a trowel blade and an extension arm. The extension arm properly connects and positions the trowel blade to the first shaft. The extension arm attaches and detaches from the first shaft so that a user can switch to a different kind of trowel. The first shaft is sleeved by the second shaft, which allows the user to extend the reach of a trowel. The second shaft comprises a receiving end and a handle. The telescopic lock mechanism secures the first shaft to the second shaft so that the distance between the trowel blade and the handle is at a specific length. The handle allows the user to adequately grasp the second shaft.

An upper end of the windshield maintenance assembly preferably includes a reversible snow brush and an ice scraper. The windshield maintenance assembly further includes a long strap that is attached at the top of the windshield maintenance assembly which allows a user to pull down or pull back on the upper end to increase operating forces. The windshield maintenance assembly beneficially enables a plurality of attachable heads, such as a squeegee, a broom, or a sponge, to be attached to the upper end to enable other maintenance functions.

Abstract: An extendable linkage mechanism for operating a slave actuator over a range of distances from a master actuator, an extendable handle for operating a tool over a range of handle length; and a tool for use by an operator for dispensing drywall joint compound into joints between sheets of drywall. Slanted engagement surfaces on master and slave wedges engage each other as well as master and slave rods to transmit motion and force at varying distances, for instance, from a lever at one end to a clamp at the other end. The elongated slave rod passes through orifices in the wedges. Structural or tubular members may slidably engage to provide extendibility.

The two holding elements of the cleaning element holder can be rotated in parallel toward each other around a longitudinal axis of the cleaning element holder on a rotation axis disposed between the holding elements. As a result, through the rotation of the two holding elements inserted into the insert region, the sectional shape of the cleaning element can be changed in a direction crossing the longitudinal direction of the cleaning element holder.

The locking device includes a body fixed to the movable section, a locking member carried by the body and movable between locking an unlocking positions, a rotatable lever carried by the body and pivotable between a release position, in which relative movement is permitted between the movable section and the guide member, and a blocking position, in which the lever comes to bear on the guide member and exerts a force assuring a transverse immobilization of the moveable section in the guide member. The lever is coupled to the locking member to be displaced toward the blocking position when the locking member is engaged in the opening under the force produced by a restoring element.

Abstract: The dual function bowl lifting and filling apparatus of the present invention allows a user to clean or fill a surface laying bowl with fluid or food, or to lift or move the apparatus without bending. Specific designs are utilized to enable the dual function bowl lifting and filling apparatus to be used by people with special needs. The bowl-filling apparatus also allows excess fluid to be stored in the apparatus. A method of filling a surface-laying bowl is disclosed as well as a method for storing excess fluid in a bowl-filling apparatus.

The sweeping member is made of several layers of Vietnam Dot' Grass which is secured to the lower end of the elongated handle. The lower edge of the grass is cut in the shape of an arc. In another embodiment of the present invention, the elongated stalk of the grass is secured around the elongated handle. The lower edge of the grass of this embodiment is cut in the shape of an one-half arc shape.

Abstract: An extendable handle for a drywall tool having a pair of telescoping tubes that are reversibly locked in place relative to each other by a locking assembly comprising a lever, a pin and a yoke that are mounted on a base positioned on a first tube. The pin is actuated by the lever and engages an opening on the second tube to lock the tubes in place. The pin and lever are spaced apart circumferentially on the handle and are connected by the yoke. The yoke is received in a slot in the base and does not extend beyond the surface of base during operation of the lever.

Latches may be used to secure both the telescoping handle and the wiper support in the open position such that the squeegee is substantially rigid in use. Both the telescoping handle and the hinged joint may be spring-loaded to automate deployment of the squeegee to the open position. The telescoping handle and wiper support may be stored in the closed position within a hollow grip attached to the telescoping handle and including ventilation for drying.

Abstract: A rolling lint and pet and human hair remover will function in at least two different positions and with the option of extending the handle in order to reach hard to reach places for use in automobiles, homes, and other locations, as well as on a person's clothing. The handle is foldable against the lint roller portion for compact storage and for use in tight places. An air-freshener body may be incorporated into the lint roller portion. Air-freshener beads are placed inside the air-freshener body and give off an aromatic fragrance while the lint remover is in use due to the tumbling action of the air-freshener beads inside the lint roller as it is rolled. A plurality of holes in the air-freshener body allow the aromatic fragrance to flow out and away from the lint roller.
