Abstract: A device and method for protecting the hands, knuckles and fingers of a user using an elongate tool such as a straightening bar to apply a desired straightening force to a structure to be straightened, such as sheet metal structure, using a fulcrum-lever approach to apply straightening force to the structure. The hand protecting device may comprise a base portion and a grip portion molded in one piece. The user's hand may grip the device while the structure of the device prevents crushing of the user's hand when the device is used at the fulcrum point, between the elongate tool and a fulcrum structure. The device and method of the system allow the user to use their hand to make needed adjustments to the placement of the elongate tool to apply the desired straightening force, without crushing the hand of the user when the straightening force is applied.

The shell is downwardly tapered from the proximal end to the distal end. The proximal end is open and includes a circular edge. The distal end is dome-shaped. The inside surface includes a ceiling at the distal end. A tab is connected to the ceiling, the tab projects toward the proximal end. The internal cavity is shaped and dimensioned to receive the thumb and at least one finger of the person with the tab disposed between the thumb and the at least one finger of the person.

Abstract: A scrubbing device with a protective handle is disclosed by this invention. The protective handle protects the fingernails, knuckles and digits of a user during use. The protective handle is flexible and malleable. The user grips the protective handle and rolls it over their fingernails, digits, upper knuckles and lower knuckles and tucks their thumb either behind or in front of the handle. The protective handle then protects the user's fingernails, knuckles and digits during use. The scrubbing device with a protective handle may have a protective pad or a protective coating. The scrubbing device with a protective handle may have an attached scouring accessory. Or, the scrubbing device with a protective handle may have a protective pad or a protective coating and an attached scouring accessory.

Abstract: Disclosed is a scourer (10) which can be used along with a shape-supporting body. The scourer (10) includes a mesh body (2) having a sparse and/or dense mesh and being bendable or foldable, and the shape-supporting body (13) which is formed in a flat plate shape from synthetic resin or rubber and attached to a portion of a surface of the mesh body when used. The shape-supporting body (13) has a toothed portion (13b) made up of a plurality of tooth-like members (13bb) arranged along at least one edge portion (13a) of the shape-supporting body (13). The scourer (10) according to the present invention is convenient for removal of dirt stuck in deep, narrow recessed portions or the inside corners of a container.

Abstract: A water application unit includes a reservoir configured to pool water and a water application pad configured to apply the water pooled in the reservoir onto a remoistenable glue portion previously attached to an adhesion position on a sheet being transferred. The water application pad includes a first pad member disposed at a position to be immersed in the reservoir and including first pores for sucking up the water in the reservoir and a second pad member disposed at a position to face the remoistenable glue portion while being in contact with the first pad member and including second pores for applying the water onto the remoistenable glue portion. The second pores has a diameter larger than a diameter of the first pores.

Abstract: A handle for temporarily securing a man-made loofah to aid in bathing and showering those parts of the body which are hard to reach, the handle having an elongate gripping end, and having a man-made loofah securing end defined by a plurality of embedded, upstanding bristle members having flexible, crook-shaped upper ends for engaging the perforated mesh cloth of a man-made loofah for scrubbing those portions of the body not easily reached, the man-made loofah easily removed from the handle by a pulling action temporarily deforming the crook-shaped bristle end and releasing the man-made loofah.

Abstract: The invention pertains to a novel scraper assembly having a plurality of interchangeable scraper heads and handles and corresponding method for use. The scraper assembly further comprises a plurality of abrasive mechanisms, namely spring bristles, coiled springs, chainmail abraders and wire cloth abraders capable of effectively cleaning a surface without scoring or otherwise damaging the surface. The invention may be particularly useful for cleaning grills and ovens. Additionally, the invention may also be useful for shaping, adding texture to, stripping materials from or otherwise preparing a surface, including wood, metal or ceramic surfaces.

One or more such scrub devices may be attached to the same pad cleaning surface to cover part or all of the pad cleaning surface. The abrasive scrub devices may have different dimensions to cover different areas of the cleaning pad non-abrasive surface to provide enhanced scrubbing action as desired. The abrasive scrub devices may be provided with different abrasion surfaces having different abrasive values and may be removed to expose the full non-abrasive cleaning surface for non-abrasive cleaning. The mop may have an optional cleaning fluid dispensing spray device.

Abstract: There is provided herein a tool to assist a user in applying a scrubbing device such as a sponge to a surface that is to be cleaned. In the preferred arrangement, the instant device will consist of two components: a detachable scrubber and an elongate handle. The scrubber portion of the instant invention will preferably be a sponge, mesh ball, or similar porous and permeable material. Attached to the sponge will be a string, ribbon, stand of elastic or other attaching member suitable for engagement with the structure of the handle. The handle will have a longitudinal slit at one end through which the attaching member will pass before being secured on the reverse face of the handle by another slit or via a mechanical structure.

Abstract: A two-sided cloth used for bathing or washing that has an exfoliating mesh nylon netting material on one side of the cloth. The other side of the cloth is the bathing cloth material that allows the individual to thoroughly cleanse the entire body. The cloth also has ropes or a string like devices on the corners of the cloth or anywhere on the cloth used as handles to make it easy for the individual to clean and exfoliate their back. This invention is used to bathe the skin and to deliver a soapy lather as well as exfoliating the skin. The soap is rubbed onto the cloth and the lather is created and is then spread through out the cloth.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a long-haft bath brush, which comprises a long haft and an elastic mesh hose. The elastic mesh hose is used to clean the body. The long haft further comprises a handle portion and an assemblage portion which has a clamp portion and a clamp plate. The clamp portion has an accommodation hole in the central region thereof. Two ends of the clamp plate are to be respectively press-fitted to two ends of the accommodation hole of the clamp portion. In assemblage, one end of the clamp plate is firstly connected to the clamp portion; next, the elastic mesh hose is placed between the clamp plate and the clamp portion; after the position and wrinkles of the elastic mesh hose are arranged well, the free end of the clamp plate is press-fitted into the clamp portion, and the elastic mesh hose is thus secured to the long haft.

Abstract: A handheld cleaning tool has a tool body with an ergonomically designed handle and cleaning head, the cleaning head extending at an obtuse angle to the handle. The cleaning head has a flexibly rigid support member with outwardly extending locking tabs located at each side of the member. The cleaning head is configured to be inserted into a mitt-like cleaning pad which substantially encompasses the cleaning head when it is fully inserted into the pad. When the cleaning head is fully within the pad, the locking tabs are immovably positioned within pockets on opposite sides of the pad. This secures the pad on the cleaning head and to the handle of the cleaning tool. The outer surfaces of the cleaning pad can accommodate an abrasive surface, a sponge-like surface, or other equivalent, commonly used cleaning surfaces.

The stretched main body is gradually pulled out of the two support rods such that the main body is fastened with one side of the brush handle, and that the main body expands at the tightening point serving as a center to form a loose bath ball.

The bathing body is composed of multiple brushing layers overlapping one another and thermally fused with one another at the center thereof. One face of each brushing layer is formed with a number of through holes. The other face of the brushing layer is formed with a number of corresponding abrasive projections with good frictional force. The bathing body is repeatedly folded back and forth to form a semiproduct of the bath ball having multiple crimps. The string is tied at the thermal fusion seam of the center of the semiproduct to form a bath ball product.
