A bath brush comprising an insertion section having an one-piece elongated coupling unit and plurality of anchoring elements protruding out of it, each anchoring element having an indented assembling portion which can secure a rubbing element therein, said insertion section is inserted into an handle section having a holding portion at one end and an accommodating portion at the other end, wherein the accommodating portion having plurality of receiving holes complementary to the position of the anchoring elements of the insertion section, whereby the insertion section interlocks firmly with the handle section, so as to secure the rubbing element properly.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a structure of a cleaning accessory, and more particularly relates to a structure of bath brush having an one-piece insertion section which can be quickly fastened and secured a rubbing element onto a handle section.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] Conventionally people take a bath to clean the body generally applying soap on the wet body and rub the skin by hand to produce bubbles and foams, then cleansing the body to wash away the bubbles. As many people perspire profusely and cannot take a bath frequently during daytime, merely resorting water and soap to clean the body is not enough. Other measures such as physical accessories must,be used to scrub the skin in order to remove the sweats and dirt away. In order to achieve this purpose, mesh cloths have been developed and introduced.

[0003] Although the mesh cloth can remove the sweat and dirt from the skin by scrubbing, it is a single layer structure and its capability to adsorb soap foams and bubbles is limited. While folding the mesh cloth can increase the adsorption capacity, it tends to loosen after long time using, thus becomes very annoying.

[0004] Others try to use sponges that have a stronger adsorption capacity to substitute the mesh cloths. While the sponge can produce more bubbles, it is often too soft and does not have effective scrubbing power.

[0005] As a result, many types of bath brushes have been developed. For example, there is an improved bath brush in which multiple elongated boot-shaped elastic meshes are respectively compressed into short boot-shaped meshes with waved peripheries and then the boot-shaped elastic meshes are axially parallelly connected with each other to form a long string, or tied together on a wooden or plastic stem.

[0006] Such strap-like bath brush has a certain length and resilience for a user to use in bathing. However, in the manufacturing procedure of such bath brush, the edge sections of each two adjacent elastic meshes are repeatedly adjoined with each other. Therefore, the meshes are excessively overlapped at the conjunction and forcedly compressed and bound. As a result, the respective conjunctions will be quite hard and when contacting with the skin of a user, the user will feel uncomfortable; while using ropes or stings to tie the elastic mesh onto a stem is a time-consuming manufacturing process, furthermore, the fastening portions are easy to loosen and the strings are not durable, thus causing many inconveniencies.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0007] Therefore the primary object of the invention is to resolve the aforesaid disadvantages. The invention provides a bath brush having an one-piece insertion section which can be manufactured easily and quickly assembled onto to a handle section.

[0008] It is a further object of the invention to provide the above bath brush which can be disassembled easily in order to replace a new rubbing element.

[0009] In order to achieve the object set forth above, the bath brush of the invention includes an one-piece insertion section having plurality of elastic anchor portions, which can be easily and quickly interlock with a complementary portion of a handle section to hold a rubbing element in position.

[0010] The foregoing, as well as additional objects, features and advantages of the invention will be more readily apparent from the following detailed description, which proceeds with reference to the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0020] Referring to FIGS. 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B, the bath brush of the present invention mainly includes an insertion section 10 and a handle section 20.

[0021] The insertion section 10 is formed or manufactured in a continuous piece comprising an one-piece elongated coupling unit 101 having a flat surface at one side, and plurality of elastic anchoring elements 102 protruding out of the other side and arranging themselves in equal or unequal distance. Said anchoring elements 102 are cylindrical in shape, having an indented assembling portion 103 on an appropriate position of each anchoring element 102.

[0022] The handle section 20 includes a holding portion 201 at one end and an accommodating portion 202 at the other end, wherein the accommodating portion 202 having an elongated trough 203, and plurality of receiving holes 204 located at an equal or unequal distance within the elongated trough 203, the position of each receiving hole 204 is complementary to the position of the plurality of elastic anchoring elements 102 of said insertion section 10, and said receiving holes 204 are penetrating from one surface of the handle section 20 to the other surface.

[0023] During assembly of the present invention, the elastic anchoring elements 102 of the insertion section 10 can be inserted as a whole into the corresponding receiving holes 204 of the handle section 20, the two sections interlock with each other having the flat one-piece elongated coupling unit 101 being completely deposited into the elongated trough 203 of accommodating portion 202 of the handle section 20. Referring to FIGS. 4A, 4B and 5, plurality of rubbing elements 30 which can be plastic meshes having plurality of holes therein, each rubbing element 30 can be folded and compressed, to be crimped and waved, and then insert into each indented assembling portions 103 of the anchoring elements 102 of the insertion section 10, when the rubbing elements 30 are firmly mounted within the indented assembling portions 103, press all anchoring elements 102 into the corresponding receiving holes 204 of the elongated trough 203 of the handle section 20.

[0024] Since the indented assembling portions 103 is elastic and have the ability to exaggerate owing to an insertion of rubbing elements 30, thus when the anchoring elements 102 are forces to press into the receiving holes 204, the elastic indented assembling portions 103 will compress first, and then get stuck within the receiving holes 204 when they are completely inserted therein, as a result, the insertion section 10 can be easily and quickly interlock with the complementary elongated trough 203 of the handle section 20, as well as securing plurality of rubbing elements 30 in the position between the insertion section 10 and the elongated trough 203, and finally form the appearance of a bath brush as illustrated on FIG. 5.

[0025] As an advantage of the insertion section 10 can be easily and quickly secured or fixed into the complementary elongated trough 203 of the handle section 20, make it more convenience to fabricate, and the manufacturing process of producing an one-piece insertion section 10 is much more easier.

[0026] Said one-piece insertion section 10 is restrictively engaged within the elongated trough 203 of the handle section 20, in order to restrict the corresponding movement of the rubbing elements 30, thus the rubbing elements 30 can produce sufficient bubbles owing to friction and rubbing action, which would be comfortable while using the bath brush to brush the body.

[0027] Furthermore, the appropriate position of the holding portion 201 of the handle section 20 can comprise a skidproof portion 205 for comfort of holding, and a hole 206 which is allow to hang up the whole bath brush when it is left unused.

[0028] The above embodiments are only used to illustrate the present inventions not intended to limit the scope thereof. Many modifications of the above embodiments can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.

Claims

1. A bath brush comprising:

an insertion section having an one-piece elongated coupling unit and plurality of anchoring elements protruding out of it, each anchoring element having an indented assembling portion;
an handle section having a holding portion at one end and an accommodating portion at the other end, wherein the accommodating portion having plurality of receiving holes located therein; and
at least one rubbing element attached to the indented assembling portion of each anchoring element;
whereby inserting the whole insertion section into the corresponding receiving holes of the handle section, the two sections interlock with each other and secure the rubbing element firmly therein.

2. A bath brush of claim 1, wherein the accommodating portion having an elongated trough therein.

3. A bath brush of claim 1, wherein plurality of anchoring elements can be elastic.

4. A bath brush of claim 1, wherein the rubbing element can be a folded or compressed mesh having plurality of holes therein.

5. A bath brush of claim 1, wherein the elongated coupling unit having a flat surface at one side.
