Abstract: A painter edger tool includes a base structure, a handle, an applicator, and a guard. In a particular embodiment, the base structure includes a first side edge and a second side edge. The guard is configured to be transitioned from a first position adjacent the first side edge, to a second position away from the first side edge, and to a third position adjacent the second side edge. In a more particular embodiment, the painter edger tool further includes a biasing member that urges the guard against a work surface when the applicator is advanced toward the work surface.

Abstract: A brush for applying a cosmetic product, in particular a varnish, on nails, includes a handle adapted to be connected at one end to a head and at an opposite end to one or more tufts of bristles for applying the product. The handle has, at the end that is adapted to be connected to the bristles, a hole which has at least one rib inside it configured for coupling with at least one tuft of bristles.

Abstract: A syringe assembly may include a syringe having a distal end, a proximal end, and a sidewall extending between the distal end and the proximal end, and a syringe drip guard extending around at least a circumferential portion of the sidewall between the distal end and the proximal end of the syringe. The syringe drip guard may have an outer wall protruding radially outward relative to the sidewall. A channel may be defined between the outer wall of the syringe drip guard and the sidewall of the syringe. The channel may have a closed proximal end and an open distal end. The syringe drip guard may be configured to at least one of: collect, absorb, or adsorb fluid within the channel.

Abstract: A catheter assembly including curved urinary catheter and a similarly curved housing for holding and carrying the same are disclosed. A catheter subassembly may be removed from the housing and mounted onto the handle to provide the catheter assembly in an extended deployed condition. The insertable portion of the catheter is curved in a way that compliments the curvature of the female urethra.

Abstract: The paint brush guide with swivel mounted secondary guide plate has handle clip or strap to removably attach to the brush handle. First and second elevated plates are disposed above and at an acute angle from the 3-D paint brush plane. A swivel mounted secondary guide plate on the second elevated plate has a distal guide edge operable in first and second guide positions, defined as first and second extreme obtuse cut-in angles for the paint brush. These first and second cut-in angles are on opposite sides of the longitudinal centerline of the paint brush. Further, the first and second elevated plates are longitudinally twisted or rotated over the 3-D brush plane. The second elevated plate form an A-shape forward edge. A hinge between the first and second elevated plates permit flexation. Stops can limit the rotation of the swivel mounted secondary guide plate.

Abstract: A paint storage and usage system including a container and a cap. The container has at least one internal ledge for removing excess paint. The cap includes a handle and a paint brush. The cap is affixed to the container by a threaded ring which engages threads on the container and compresses the cap against the top of the container.

Abstract: Container liquid catch rings which can be placed on a liquid container to catch and collect residual liquid from the container may include a ring body configured for placement on the liquid container in surrounding and substantially liquid-sealing relationship thereto. A ring opening may be formed by the ring body. The ring opening may be substantially sized and configured to accommodate the liquid container. A catch channel may be provided in the ring body in exterior concentric relationship to the ring opening. Liquid container and container liquid catch ring combinations are also disclosed.

Abstract: A cosmetic application tool is provided which includes an applying portion attached and integrated with a leading end portion of a brush shaft. The applying portion includes a flat, plate-shaped portion surrounded by a hollow, skirt-shaped portion at its distal end. When the brush shaft is drawn out of a cosmetic container, the skirt-shaped hollow portion of the applying portion is flattened by a wiper provided in a surrounding manner within the cosmetic container, so that some of the liquid cosmetic that has been pooled in the skirt-shaped hollow portion is pushed out over the flat plate-shaped portion while some is retained in the skirt-shaped hollow portion of the applying portion.

Abstract: A painting implement cleaning and storage apparatus 10 is provided. The apparatus facilitates the cleaning and storage of painting implements such as a roller 12, a brush 14 and a roller pan 16. The apparatus includes a base 18 and a bracket 32 coupled to the base. The roller 12 is supported on the bracket 32 in an upwardly extending diagonal position between shields 45 and 54 for containing paint spreads from the roller. The brush 14 is supported on bracket 32 in a upwardly projecting position. A roller pan 16 is coupable to shield 45 and supported thereon in a descending position. Once the painting implements 12, 14 and 16 are supported on the apparatus 10, cleaning can be accomplished by the application of a stream of water thereto after which the implements can be left until they are needed.

The apparatus of this invention is provided with a base support member 18. The roller 12 is supported on the base support member 18 in an upwardly extending diagonal position adjacent a shield 70 for containing paint spreads from the roller in a predetermined confined area. The brush 14 is supported on the base support member in a predetermined upwardly projecting position. A roller pan 16 is coupable to the base support member 18 and supported thereon in a diagonally descending position.

Abstract: A baby bottle cleaning brush which includes a reversible cover between the brush and handle that covers the opening of a baby bottle, so when the action of the brush on the lip of the baby bottle opening would tend to spray water, the brush cover envelops the bottle opening and prevents the spray from spreading out and hitting the user or surroundings.

The pad (64) is substantially dovetail shape in cross-section to correspond to a rotor slot (40).

Abstract: A scraping apparatus includes an elongated tubular shaft with open proximal and distal ends in fluid communication with each other along an entire longitudinal length of the tubular shaft. The apparatus further includes a funnel, a scraping implement positioned above the funnel, a mechanism for securely maintaining the scraping implement at an elevated position above the top opening of the funnel, and a top protrusion monolithically formed with the apex and situated substantially parallel to the top opening of the funnel and juxtaposed proximal thereto. Such a top protrusion has a planar top surface.

Abstract: A side cutting tool has a sponge 1 inserted within a hand piece 2. The sponge 1 is fixed within the hand piece 2 by a pin 3 inserted through adjustment holes 4 in a handle 5. A suspended plate 8 is inserted adjacent to the curved face 9 of the hand piece 2. The suspended plate 8 is fixed within the hand piece 2 by a pin 10 inserted through holes 11 and 12 in the suspended plate 8 and holes 13 and 14 in the hand piece. An adjustment plate 15 is inserted between the suspended plate 8 and the curved face 9 of the hand piece 2.

Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning an espresso machine includes a brush head attached to a neck. The brush head includes a longitudinal axis that is perpendicular to that of the neck. The neck extends along a first longitudinal axis for a length and is attached to a handle section that includes a second longitudinal axis which extends away from the brush head at a greater angle than the neck. A plurality of annular rings prevents scalding water from traversing past the neck and reaching the handle section, where a user is adapted to grasp the apparatus. A protrusion is included, as desired, to clean the orifice of a steamer wand. Various possible enhancements include ergonomic grip surfaces on the handle section, replacement component parts, and dual cleaning surfaces.

The opening can be configured to grip a handle of a liquid media applicator brush such that the bristles of the brush are substantially immersed into a liquid media within a liquid media container when the brush storage device is installed onto the liquid media container. In alternative embodiments, the opening can include a plurality of axially aligned slits that form generally triangular shaped flexible segments that grip the handle of the brush, while in other embodiments, the opening includes a grommet that can grip the handle of the brush.

A handle at the other end of the plunger-brush provides for easy handling of the implement.

Abstract: A tool for both plunging and cleaning plumbing fixtures and drains includes a handle and a plunger and a cleaning brush both coupled to the same end of the handle. The plunger is moveable between an extended position in which it covers a majority of the brush, and a retracted position in which it exposes a majority of the brush. The tool may be used for cleaning with the plunger retracted and for plunging with the plunger extended. Exemplary embodiments are particularly useful for cleaning and plunging toilets using a combination toilet plunger and toilet brush.

Abstract: This invention relates to a hollow toothbrush adapted for fluid draining comprising a brush head having a neck portion and a bristle portion disposed on the neck portion, and a hollow brush stem form a drain passage with a first opening and a second opening respectively formed at two opposite ends thereof. The neck portion is partially inserted into the drain passage through the first opening and is formed with a plurality of ribs radially extending from the neck portion to the brush stem, so as to securely fix the brush head to the brush stem by the ribs. During teeth brushing, the mixed liquid of dentifrice and saliva flows along the neck portion through the first opening into the brush stem and then flows out the brush stem through the second opening, and thereby the mixed liquid is prevented from contaminating the user's hand gripping the toothbrush.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for applying a liquid coating onto an object. The apparatus includes a device that has a handle and a transfer medium which is attached to the handle. The apparatus further includes a cover that is attached to the device. The cover includes a closure element that is operable to open and close an end of the cover. When the end of the cover is open, the cover is movable between a first position where the cover protects the transfer medium and a second position where the cover protects the handle. In another example embodiment, the cover is formed of a removable first layer that is positioned adjacent to the transfer medium when the cover is in the first position and a removable second layer that is positioned adjacent to the handle when the cover is in the second position.

Abstract: A protective holder for use with a paintbrush. The holder has a flexible sleeve that is configured to be snuggly positioned about a substantial portion of a paintbrush body. The sleeve has an aperture through which the handle of a brush may extend, and may also include absorbent material that captures liquid that dribbles down from the applicator portion of a paintbrush when the paintbrush is held vertically. The holder also may have a fastener to maintain the skirt in either of its protective positions.

Abstract: A resilient one-piece paint brush storage lid for both storing a paint brush so that it does not need to be rinsed and cleaned, and for keeping the brush from drying while at the same time covering a container of liquid such as paint so that the paint does not evaporate. The one-piece lid has a flat portion covering the container, a depending outer rim portion, and a raised tapered neck portion projecting above the flat portion, with an aperture in the raised neck portion, for slidably receiving a paintbrush handle therethrough. The brush is adjustably positionable so that the brush fibers are covered by the liquid up to the ferrule portion of the brush. The storage lid is preferably light transmissive to view the position of the paint brush in relation to the level of the liquid in the container. The raised neck portion extending above the flat portion of the storage lid maintains a sufficiently strong grip on the handle of the brush so as to suspend the weight of the brush.
