Abstract: A filter shaker for a filter assembly disposed in a vacuum includes a housing that removably mounts to the filter and/or a support for the filter and a vibrator assembly carried by the housing. When actuated, the vibrator assembly vibrates the filter to clean particulate matter from the filter. The vibrator assembly includes a motor that drives an eccentric and an actuator that periodically impacts against a portion of the housing to cause the vibrations. The housing includes a mounting assembly for mounting the filter shaker to the cage and/or filter in an operative position and a locking assembly for locking and unlocking the filter shaker in the operative position to prevent the filter shaker from vibrating off. In the operative position, the filter shaker covers an open end of a tubular filter and thereby forces air to be directed through filter material of the tubular filter.

Abstract: Used in a mobile robotic vacuum cleaner, a dust collector is disclosed to include a dust collection box, and a chips collection box connected to the dust collection box. The chips collection box comprises two openings respectively disposed adjacent to one respective roller brush of the mobile robotic vacuum cleaner and adapted for receiving chips directed by the roller brush for enabling the directed chips to be gathered in the chips collection box. Thus, dust sucked by the mobile robotic vacuum cleaner and chips directed by the roller brushes are respectively collected in the dust collection box and the chips collection box, and any non-dust articles that are accidentally directed into the chips collection box can be discovered and cleaned easily by the user.

Abstract: A vacuum cleaner and suction nozzle thereof. The vacuum cleaner has a housing, dust collecting unit, filter assembly, motor assembly and roller brush. The suction nozzle has a bottom housing, front cover and roller brush. The housing includes a concave cavity; the bottom housing and the front cover latch together to form a chamber; the roller brush assembly and the separation piece fit into this chamber; the separation piece corresponds to a transmission component of the roller brush. When rotating at high speed, the roller brush forms a seamless and closed separation face with the separation piece, preventing foreign matter from entering the transmission component, thus avoiding reduced suction and damage due to a tangled synchronous belt or a shaft jamming a roller brush bearing.

Abstract: A new vacuum cleaner that is adapted for use in a vehicle has a user-removable debris collection tank that has spaced recesses on the bottom that inhibit both fore-and-back movement of debris within the collection tank and side-to-side movement of debris within the collection tank. The recesses are located in opposed outer corners of the tank, and have lower surfaces that support the tank in a standing position. Raised sections divide each of the recesses into two corner recess sections and an offset recess section, and inhibit both fore-and-aft movement of debris within the recesses and side-to-side movement of debris within the recess sections. The offset recess section has tracks that curve in different directions from an intermediate position adjacent or near a side of the tank. The bottom of the tank is generally curved downwardly towards the sides of the tank.
