The foldable base includes a first rigid panel coupled to a second rigid panel such that the foldable base is configured to fold from a generally flat configuration to a folded configuration, thereby converting the bag from an expanded configuration to a collapsed configuration.

The sole of the first sneaker acts as the bottom of the shoe purse, while the sides and heels of the first and second sneaker upper portions form the sides of the purse. The joined upper portions form an upper section of the purse. An interior cavity of the purse is lined defining a primary interior portion. An opening portion is attached to the purse upper portion. The opening portion may be alternatively opened and fastened closed.

A face sheet, a central core sheet and a back sheet are bonded to one another with the central core sheet between the face sheet and the back sheet. The lamination is done by bonding the peripheral margins of the face and back sheets while the central core sheet is applied with adhesives at appropriate portions to be bonded to the face and back sheets. In this way, the peripheral marginal area of the laminated decorative cover is thinner than the central area thereof with the result that the marginal area can be inserted under the frame attached to the cover or body of the handbag without causing the frame to bulge. In addition, the laminated structure provides a wide range of alternatives in material selection.

The device is comprised of a panel of substantially rectangular configuration having a center portion and paired end strips. A number of releasible fasteners adapted to engage said end strips are each provided with a flexible tether line which can be attached to a specific item in the purse. Indicia on the panel correspond to the sought items in the purse. The panel is attached to a sidewall of the purse using rivets which penetrate the center portion of said panel.
