Abstract: Described herein are cosmetic bags of various size, shapes, and configurations. In one embodiment, a cosmetic bag includes a first sidewall including a first coupling surface; a second sidewall coupled to the first sidewall and including a second coupling surface, the second sidewall and the second coupling surface defining a groove configured as a handle; a reversibly sealable pouch coupled to and between the first and second sidewalls, the pouch being visible between the first and second sidewalls in a closed configuration; a first divider between the first sidewall and the pouch, the first divider and the first sidewall defining a first slot and the first divider and the pouch defining a second slot; and a second divider between the second sidewall and the pouch, the second divider and the second sidewall defining a third slot and the second divider and the pouch defining a fourth slot.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, a case for a portable electronic device (PED) includes a stand that is configured to support a PED in an upright position. The stand may be pivotally coupled to a sliding member that can move along the case's back side. The sliding member and stand may move between a first position in which the stand supports the device in an upright position and a second position in which the stand lies flush with the rear face. Thus, the stand may selectively support the case in an upright position or be compact for easy storage.

Abstract: A container and billfold for carrying credit cards and the like is provided with security protection for shielding surreptitious remote retrieval of the information stored in magnetic means on the cards. The upper edge portions of the cards are exposed in a staggered manner in the container for ready identification, selection and removal of a particular card during use. The container has a spring-loaded cam operated compression spring hinge to maintain it in either a closed condition in a snap action or in a secure opened condition with its upper housing pivoted to a maximum opening position of generally 49 degrees relative to the plane of the lower housing. A paper currency clip is also provided in the container.

Abstract: A carrying case for an electronic device includes a main compartment receiving the electronic device and having an opening as an entrance, a cover foldably fixed on the main compartment for covering the opening, a first supporting member positioned on the cover and a second supporting member positioned on the cover and spaced from the first supporting member, a first engaging member and a first fixing member. The first supporting member and the second supporting member are capable of forming a V-shaped ridge structure when the cover is partially elevated above the main compartment and supporting the electronic device. The first engaging member is fixed on the first fixing member to maintain the V-shaped ridge structure.

Abstract: An interchangeable bag and cover system is provided that comprises a body with a first connection portion. A first securing mechanism is coupled to the body. A plurality of covers are interchangeably connectable to the body. Each cover has a second connection portion releasably attachable to the first connection portion of the body, wherein the cover is moveable relative to the body between open position and closed positions. Each cover has a free end portion positionable adjacent to the body when the cover is in the close position. Each cover has a second securing mechanism configured to releasably engage the first securing mechanism to retain the cover in the closed position.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a convertible bag for carrying a laptop that can be converted from a tote configuration to a skin or sleeve configuration and back again. The convertible bag includes a body that is shaped and configured to receive a laptop computer; a pair of handles connected to the body, each handle defining an aperture that is sized to receive a hand or a portion thereof; and at least three fasteners, one fastener attached to each handle and one fastener attached to the body, whereby two or more of the at least three fasteners are positioned to engage one another when the pair of handles are in a first position that exposes the apertures and when the pair of handles are in a second position folded against the body.

Abstract: A system for securing a metallic item in a purse is disclosed and comprises a first magnet for positioning exterior on the exterior face of the purse wall, and a second magnet for positioning in the purse interior on the interior face of the wall, the second magnet being magnetically attracted to the first magnet. An ornament may be mounted on the first magnet to obscure at least a portion of the first magnet. A method includes positioning the first magnet adjacent to the exterior face of the wall, positioning the second magnet adjacent to the interior face at a location that is substantially opposite of the first magnet such that magnetic attraction pulls the first and second magnets toward each other on the opposite wall faces, and moving the metallic item into the interior and bringing the item into contact with the second magnet such that the item is magnetically attracted thereto.

The covers may be attached with hook-and-loop fasteners such that they are easily interchangeable without removing the contents of the purse. The straps may similarly be attached using hook-and-loop fasteners and rest in grooves in the base ends, and may be further secured in place using rods at the top of the base ends.

Abstract: A combination container for transporting articles which can concurrently be used as a ballistic shield from high speed projectiles such as bullets and/or shrapnel. The container, which can be a backpack, purse, computer carrying case, or similar bag style device, features a forward wall and a rear wall each having forming a compartment therebetween and at least one ballistic shield, attachable to one or both of the forward wall and said rear wall. Upper flaps and lower flaps attached to the bag afford deployable additional protection from attached ballistic shields. A handle provides a means for elevating the deployed elongated flaps and attached bag in front of the user to provide a large area of protection from such high speed projectiles.

Abstract: A purse 10 is provided with a front wall 14 and a back wall 16 aligned with and spaced from the front wall. The purse 10 is also provided with a first side wall 18 which is aligned to engage one end of the front and back walls 14 and 16 and a second side wall 20 which is aligned to engage another end of the front and back walls. A bottom wall 22 is aligned to engage bottom portions of the front and back walls 14 and 16 and first and second side walls 18 and 20. Additionally a lid 36 is provided having portions thereof aligned adjacent to the back wall 16. A decorative member 58 is provided which is coupled to an outside wall of the front, back, and side walls 14, 16, 18 and 20 and the lid 36. The purse is provided with lamination 60 for engaging inside and outside portions of the walls. The lid 36 is pivotably coupled to the back wall so that the lid can be moved to cover an opening 24 in the purse. Further a latch 48 is provided to couple the lid 36 to the front wall.

Abstract: A pack for carrying valuables and golf accessories by a golfer is described. The pack includes a pouch having a zippered closure for retaining non-golf accessories such as keys, change, glasses, and the like and an external pocket for retaining golf accessories during play. The pouch is elongated and concave with a rigid backing material having an integral clip thereon for affixing the pouch to the wearer's belt or to the golf bag. The pack is intended to make the golf accessories readily available during play while securing the golfer's valuables and to be easily removable from the golf bag after play so that the valuables can be maintained on the golfer's person.

Abstract: A suitcase, lid or door has a first polygonal part and a second polygonal part. The first and second parts are engaged against each other in a closed position for the assembly. The first and second parts each having at least two non-parallel sides connected to each other at a corner and extending at an angle to each other. Each side has a rabbet edge and the rabbet edges of the first part are shaped to closely engage the rabbet edges of the second part in the closed position. The edges of each side have a gently undulating profile with at least one arc on each side, one of the parts having convex arcs which correspond to, and closely engage concave arcs of the other part. The corners are rounded and one of the concave arcs extends around each corner.

Abstract: A portable organizer case for jewelry or cosmetics is disclosed comprising a semi-circular dome shaped lid hinged to a receptacle. Within said receptacle is stored a pair of unattached, removeable trays, each fitted with a mounting bracket. When the case is opened, the trays may be removed from the receptacle and may be mounted outwardly astride the end walls of the receptacle to form a dressing table. Within the hollow of the lid is mounted a mirror pivotably rotateable. Lower and upper rails are molded onto the receptacle and lid. When the case is closed, upper and lower rails nest allowing a pair of catches to sealably slide over both rails.
