Abstract: A purse with an integrated and removable phone case includes an attached, but removable, phone case suspended from a purse strap by a chain, cord, or similar mechanism. Cell phone users require immediate, unencumbered access to their phones. Currently available products require the phone user to remove his or her phone from a bag. Phone cases cannot hold many items without becoming too bulky. Small purses have limited storage space and personal devices can take up much of that space. Moreover, carrying a phone case with a strap in addition to a purse with a strap can cause tangling and limit ease of use. An externally available phone case suspended from a strap of a purse allows for immediate access to the cell phone without consuming space within the purse. The suspended phone case may be removed from the purse to allow for separate use of the phone or purse.

Abstract: The pocket channel frame provides a means for attaching the distal ends of a pocket frame without the need of any tools. The pocket channel frame is formed from a longitudinal member having an elongated “C” shaped cross section. One end comprises is a flared out female end with a rectangular slot or 5 hole in it. The opposing distal end of the longitudinal having a C shaped cross section is swaged down into a projecting male end including a lance punched in the web. When the male end is swaged, an edge is created in the transition area from male to female which acts as a stop means for cooperatively engaging the female receiving distal end and sets the length of a short side of the pocket channel frame. During assembly, the lance snaps into the hole cooperatively engaging the slot on the 10 female side preventing the channel frame from coming back apart.

Abstract: A securable banknote carrier comprising an enclosure of flexible material attached to an articulated bi-fold frame delimiting a banknote aperture, wherein the frame comprises a pair of hingedly coupled opposing jaw members, and wherein the frame is configured such that when moving from a banknote aperture open position to a banknote aperture closed position the opposing jaw members rotate inwardly towards one another from a position in which the jaw members are substantially coplanar to a position m which the members are substantial adjacent and parallel to each other.

Abstract: An insert can be used to preserve a portable, flexible receptacle such as a handbag. The insert has a filler contained in a flexible enclosure. The filler has a volume and a shape-altering capability that can non-destructively accommodate and support the receptacle internally, without misshaping it. The desiccating pack is held by the enclosure and is positioned inside the receptacle to reduce moisture and the risk of damage to the receptacle.

Abstract: The briefcase and backpack luggage includes a housing that may carry a plurality of items. The housing comprises a case portion of the housing that may store the items. A folder portion of the housing is coupled to the case portion of the housing. The folder portion of the housing may store items. A handle is coupled to the housing. The handle may be gripped. A strap is coupled to the housing. The strap may be positionable on the user so the housing is retained on the user.

Abstract: A purse comprises a frame including a pair of elongated parallel rails and a pair of V-frames connected to opposite end of the rails which allow the rails to be moved between spaced apart and closed together positions. A cover defining an enclosure is sized to fit around the frame when the rails are in both of their positions. The cover includes opposite side walls with upper edge margins and cooperating fastening means on the frame and on the cover for releasably securing the side wall upper edge margins of the cover to the rails of the frame.

Abstract: A female hinge member, and a hinge assembly including the member, includes a pair of spaced ears between which a cylindrical roller is supported for rotation about an axis parallel to the axis about which the female hinge member and a pivotally attached male hinge member are relatively rotatable. The hinge assembly is connected to opposite end portions of a framework forming part of a handbag. As the hinge members are relatively rotated in moving between open and closed positions, the roller moves along the surface of a cantilever spring on the male hinge member, in rolling contact therewith.

Abstract: A safety lock for security pouches is provided which includes a bolt member secured at one end to a back wall of the pouch which extends inwardly across the mouth of the pouch, a front wall of the pouch having an opening therethrough to receive the bolt member, articulated opposite reinforced side walls which are adapted as inwardly extending lateral pleats between the front and back walls of the pouch and have openings to receive the bolt member extending between the front and back walls, and a rigid flap which extends from the top of the back wall and unfolds the closed mouth of the pouch and a portion of the front wall and has an opening therethrough to receive the bolt member.
