    Abstract: A designer handbag is formed as a flexible pouch having a top opening communicating with a hollow interior. Front and back surfaces of the pouch are formed from a fur pelt material. A flap is formed by a top portion of the back surface and is dimensioned to selectively close the open top. Opposite side surfaces and a bottom surface of the pouch are formed from a leather material. A metallic ribbing extends across the front and back surfaces at an intersection of the fur pelt and leather materials. An ornamental latch mechanism is provided for securing the flap in a closed position. Actuating buttons of the latch mechanism include settings for ornamental gems.

    Abstract: A weather-resistant carrier is made up of a non-waterproof bag and waterproof accessories. The accessories are a bottom container, a cap, and a sheath with handles similar to those of the bag covering a major portion of the sides of the bag. One or all may be connected directly to the bag. Preferably, the bottom container is attached to the bag, the sheath attached to the bottom container, and the cap to the sheath. In a preferred model, the sheath can be folded up with the empty bag, placed in the container, and the cap can be attached to the container to provide a carrying case. All or parts of the accessories can be utilized with the bag, depending on the weather.
