Woven Patents (Class 152/202)
  • Patent number: 11167810
Abstract: A track for traction of a vehicle, such as an agricultural vehicle, an industrial vehicle (e.g., a construction vehicle), a military vehicle, or another off-road vehicle, is provided. The track comprises a ground-engaging outer surface for engaging the ground and a plurality of traction projections projecting from the ground-engaging outer surface and distributed in a longitudinal direction of the track. The traction projections may be designed to enhance their resistance to deterioration during use. For example, a blowout resistance of each traction projection may be enhanced to prevent or at least reduce a potential for blowout of the traction projection under repeated loads which may induce heat buildup within it. Also, a wear resistance of the traction projection may be enhanced such that the traction projection wears less rapidly. A system for protecting a track against potential occurrence of blowout is also provided.

  • Patent number: 9677241
Abstract: A passive annular grout seal assembly is disclosed for sealing an annular opening between a driven pile and a skirt pile sleeve for an offshore platform. The annular seals are located at the bottom of the pile sleeves near sea floor and automatically activated when piles are inserted and driven through the pile sleeves without any active operational procedure during offshore piling. The seal configuration fully utilizes the seal height, the grout column height and the density difference between grout and sea water to produce enhanced sealing capacity against the column of grout above.

  • Patent number: 6827114
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire comprises making a rubber-coated cord-member by coating one or more cords with rubber, and making the tread reinforcement by putting together a plurality of the cord-members around a drum into a cylindrical network of the cords, so that the cords make a first array of cords inclining in one direction with respect to the tire equator and a second array of cords inclining in one direction which is opposite to the cords of the first array with respect to the tire equator. It is possible that the cord-members are woven. It is also possible that the cord-members are not woven and, in the crossings of the cords, one of the two cross cords is curved along the other cord.
