Felly And Spoke Patents (Class 152/234)
  • Patent number: 6423446
Abstract: The present invention provides an electrode plate having a collector 1, an active material layer 2 and a non-coated portion 3 and satisfies at least one of the following conditions. (1) The maximum thickness in an area inside by 20 mm from an edge portion of the active material layer is not more than the sum of an average thickness of the active material layer and 10 &mgr;m. (2) In an inclined portion of the peripheral edge portion of the active material layer, an area in which the thickness of the active material layer is not less than 1 &mgr;m and less than an average thickness of the active material layer has a width of not more than 1 mm. (3) An absolute value of a positional shifting of an actually formed pattern with respect to a true boundary line of a predetermined pattern is not more than 1 mm.

  • Patent number: 4449561
Abstract: A non-skid device made of side link sleeve and pin chain for the spoked wheels of wheelchairs, bicycles and the like. The chain includes a removable pin to enable assembly of the chain onto the wheel with a spoke of the wheel captured between the free ends of a pair of spaced side links thereof. A slotted plate having major surfaces of larger dimensions than the transverse dimensions of the chain is rigidly fixed to the chain with its slot extending from between the free ends of such pair of spaced side links to the adjacent edge of the plate to pass the spoke upon assembly and removal. One embodiment includes a resilient shoe member. Alternate removable pin structures are described.

  • Patent number: 4271888
Abstract: A snow chain assembly having a pair of cross-chains is connected with a wheel assembly by a pair of connecting devices. One connecting device includes a lug mounted to the inside of the wheel and a cooperating socket plate that receives the lug and is secured thereby. The second connecting device includes a T-shaped radial slot and a T-shaped pin connected to the chain. When the pin is inserted in the slot and moved radially outward, the slot prevents disengagement of the pin. Spring biased retaining members may be attached to the wheel as locks to further prevent chain disengagement.
