Abstract: A tire includes: a skeleton portion including a rim member, a plurality of body springs latched on the rim member, and a plurality of interlink springs interlaced with the body springs; and a tread member disposed at least on the outer periphery of the skeleton portion.
Abstract: A wheel assembly that includes an outer rim assembly with a first outer rim portion, a second outer rim portion, and a plurality of outer cross members extending between the first and second outer rim portions, a tire assembly secured to the outer rim assembly, and at least a first bump stop assembly. The tire assembly includes an outer main body portion that includes first and second outer side wall portions and an outer contact portion extending transversely between the first and second outer side wall portions. The first bump stop assembly includes a first inner rim portion, a second inner rim portion and an inner main body portion. The inner main body portion includes first and second inner side wall portions and an inner contact portion extending transversely between the first and second inner side wall portions. The inner contact portion is coupled to the outer contact portion.
Abstract: The present invention provides a spoked wheel including a rim having a continuous series of circumferential sections each of which has opposed ends and is connected at each of its ends to an adjacent section by means of a hinge that allows the two adjacent sections to pivot with respect to each other substantially in the plane of the wheel. The wheel also includes a hub that rotates with the rim and a plurality of spokes extending between the hub and the rim and supporting the rim on the hub. Each of the spokes having an end that is pivotally attached to the rim. At least one of the spokes is movable with respect to the hub in the plane of the wheel to change the angular spacing between adjacent spokes and alter the shape of the rim between a circular shape and a non-circular shape.
Abstract: A non-pneumatic tire comprises circumferentially-spaced support elements joined together by an interconnection structure with the interposition of flexible joints, so as to ensure good overall operation.

Abstract: A method of joining a woven fabric on a power transmission belt and transferring an identifying mark thereon by providing a discrete sheet element with an identifying mark thereon, providing a woven sheet having spaced ends, abutting the spaced ends of the woven sheet to each other, placing the discrete sheet element over the abutted ends of the woven sheet, adhering the discrete sheet element to the abutted ends of the woven sheet, and combining the woven sheet with the discrete sheet element adhered thereto with at least one other component to produce an unvulcanized power transmission belt/belt sleeve, wherein the surface of the power transmission belt defined by the woven sheet is characterized by the absence of any recessed or stepped portions.
