  • Patent number: 7353854
Abstract: An adhesive tape roller fixing device for an adhesive tape dispenser includes a pivotal shaft fixed sidewise on a sidewall of the dispenser body, and a small roller, a guide roller and a blade orderly fixed at the front portion of the sidewall. The pivotal shaft has a cylindrical body, two lengthwise slots formed spaced apart in the cylindrical body to define two elastic section walls, and a one-way constrict wall extending out from the outer surface of the cylindrical body on an irregular section wall of the cylindrical body. Then when an adhesive tape roll is fitted around on the pivotal shaft, two hooks of the two elastic section walls stop the outer end of the adhesive tape roll and keep it from falling off. Further, the one-way constrict wall elastically pushes outward tightly the adhesive tape roll to let it rotate only forward, never backward.

  • Patent number: 7195048
Abstract: An ergonomic dispenser of a roll of adhesive film facilitates application of that film to a surface with minimum manipulation by the user. The dispenser has a low profile where the cutting blade, axis of rotation of the adhesive film roll and dispenser handle lie in closely aligned planes. This creates a low profile dispenser which places the roll of adhesive film in close proximity to the application surface. A flexible shield overlies the cutting blade to prevent unwanted user contact with the blade. Various means are used to manage the loose end of film after it is cut off the roll so that it does not adhere to the roll or double over on itself. Unidirectional movement of the roll is also used to manage the loose end of tape after cutoff. Optionally, blade means may be added to the dispenser's handle for use in opening cartons, cutting string or the like.

  • Patent number: 7182117
Abstract: A film dispenser for applying an adhesive film to an elongated structure has a mounting frame, guide members on the bottom portions of the mounting frame sides to engage the shoulder portions of the elongated structure to allow movement of the apparatus in relation to the elongated structure while the guide members remains engaged with the shoulder portions, and roll mounting assembly for securely receiving a film roll near the top leading end of the apparatus. When the guide members are engaged to the shoulder portions of the elongated structure, an end of the adhesive film is applied onto the surface of the elongated structure, the apparatus is then slid to dispatch more adhesive film with controlled and consistent lateral positioning in relation to the surface of the elongated structure.

Abstract: A label maker includes a housing, a tape-roll wheel holder, a label guide roller unit, a synchronous gear unit, a stripping guide member, a changeover stopper and a press-and-deliver device. After a label-tape roll is fitted on the tape-roll wheel holder, the label paper of the label-tape roll is pulled out and inserted in the label guide roller unit. The label and the separable paper of the label paper can be separated from each other by timely shifting the position of the change-over stopper and then respectively guided to a label guiding outlet and a separable-paper guiding outlet. The label guided out of the label-guiding outlet is pressed and pasted on an article by the label press roller of the label press roller unit. The press-and-deliver lever can be pressed to automatically guide labels out for use.

Abstract: A mark transfer tool utilizing a coat film transfer technology, concerning various marks composed of characters, codes, patterns or their combination. A mark transfer tape has multiple pressure-sensitive adhesive transfer marks adhered and held at specified intervals peelably on the surface of a base tape, and the transfer marks are prepared as adhesive seals of which adhesive force of the back-side pressure sensitive adhesive layer adhered to the transfer area is set larger than the adhesive holding force on the base tape. Like adhesive seals, the transfer marks once transferred on the transfer area can be once peeled off and adhered again, or peeled and removed when no longer needed.

  • Patent number: 7172004
Abstract: An apparatus for applying strips of resiliently compressible gasket material to upper edges of beams that are fed therethrough. The apparatus includes a bed having a plurality of rollers that support the beams passing thereover, there being at least one drive roller for frictionally engaging the beams in drive relationship therewith. A guide maintains the beams in a predetermined orientation as they pass through the apparatus. An applicator roller presses against the upper edges of the beams, with the strip of resiliently compressible gasket material being guided under the applicator roller so that an adhesive layer on a lower surface thereof is pressed into adhesive engagement with the upper edges of the beams. An extensible blade actuated by a sensor cuts the strip of gasket material at the end of each beam.
