Abstract: A CD labeling device has a base, a support detachably connected with the base and a planar disc detachably and slidably connected with the support and having a cushion securely attached on a face thereof. The CD labeling device is able to provide a smooth attachment of a label to a face of the CD to be labeled via the help of the cushion and the smooth sliding movement of the planar disc about the support.
Abstract: An apparatus for applying labels on optical discs having a base capable of supporting a label. A plunger element capable of supporting and positioning an optical disc with respect to the label and movably coupled with the base so to be capable of affixing labels on the optical disc concentrically with the rotational axis of the optical disc. A biasing element in cooperative arrangement with the base and the plunger element so as to bias the plunger element toward a position above the base. A locking mechanism that locks the plunger element into a fixed position relative to the base. A foam element positioned on the base and adapted to keeping the label horizontally oriented. A nonskid surface positioned on the bottom of the base for limiting undesired movement of the base. A positioning element coupled with the plunger element and/or the bottom of the base for positioning the biasing element within the base.
Abstract: A label sticking apparatus comprises, for example, three pushing devices. The pushing devices serve to press the label held by the sucking plate against an object to be labeled. The pressing device includes pressing rods. The pressing rods are held by a holding member with each one coil spring. A label pressing member is attached to the lower end of the pressing rod. The label pressing member has a hollow and tubular body made of a soft material. The holding member is attached to the forward end of a rod of an actuator comprising a cylinder etc. Under the holding member, a stopper for suddenly stopping the holding member is disposed.
Abstract: According to the present invention, there is used a conveyance roller for the conveyance of a pasteboard with labels; a separating member is disposed on a downstream side from a pasteboard conveyance path with respect to a printing head which holds the pasteboard with labels between the same and a platen, and in a position close to the printing head; and a pinch roller is provided for holding between the same and the conveyance roller the pasteboard portion which has been bent and separated from a label after printing by the separating member. The conveyance of the pasteboard with labels for printing and the conveyance of the pasteboard for label separating can be done at a time by driving either the conveyance roller or the pinch roller.
Abstract: In the forming of an article by blow molding parisons into conformity with cavities wherein parisons in the form of tubes are extruded from an extruder into a plurality of neck molds on a head, the head is moved axially away from the extruder to define the parisons and then an array of mold sections are closed about the parisons and the parisons are blown outwardly, the apparatus for applying labels to the hollow blown plastic articles which comprises a vacuum slide mounted for indexing movement adjacent a source of labels for successively removing labels from a source to provide an array of labels on the slide and label pick up and delivery devices on the head for simultaneously removing the array of labels from the vacuum slide and delivering the array of labels to the array of cavities of the mold sections when the head is moved between the mold sections.
