Abstract: A device for attaching to a sliding door of a pair of sliding doors and for allowing opening of the sliding door by use of a foot. The device includes a first portion, a second portion, and attaching apparatus. The first portion is attached to the interior surface of the bottom of the sliding door and is engaged by the foot when opening the sliding door. The second portion is attached to the exterior surface of the bottom of the sliding door and is engaged by the foot when opening the sliding door. The attaching apparatus attaches the first portion and the second portion to the sliding door.

Abstract: This invention discloses a handle arranged for driving operation of an axle about an operation axis thereof, the handle including a first element operatively associated with the axle and extending in a first plane perpendicular to the operation axis; and a second element mounted onto the first element and being pivotably mounted with respect to the axle about a second axis lying in the first plane, the second element being arranged with respect to the operation axis so as to be not centered about the axis.

Abstract: A sanitary opener for attachment to a door for use by an operator to open the door with his forearm or elbow is described. The opener comprises a first portion generally parallel to the door for attachment to the door, a second portion extending away for the door and a third portion with a generally planar contact surface facing the door. To open the door, the operator places his forearm behind the third portion and against the contact surface and pulls. A sanitary advantage is gained since an operator's hands do not touch the door. An alternate embodiment provides for a foot operated opener.
