Abstract: The organization of a room is challenging when the use of space can vary. A hanging wall system or hanging partition system is provided to divide the space in a room. The hanging wall system includes a light system that illuminates the space and diffuses the light. The hanging wall system includes an exterior body defining a void therein and an internal structure positioned within the void. The internal structure includes one or more lights that illuminate the exterior body. Hanging supports, such as wires, extend from the top of the internal structure. The internal structure supports the exterior body.

Abstract: Disclosed is a panel enclosure system for enclosing partially unenclosed structures. The system includes a panel member assembly preferably comprising at least two panel members and a securing member that removably secures the panel member assembly over the unenclosed portion of a structure. The panel members of the panel member assembly may be individually removed to vary the degree of exposure to outdoor weather and environmental conditions. Preferably, the panel members comprising the panel member assembly vary in degree of transparency such that users may vary the level of visual exposure to the surrounding outdoor environment by adding or removing panel members.

Abstract: A closure device for a flexible bag includes an elongated first clamp member having a channel and an elongated second clamp member that is configured as a blade that is receivable within the channel. The clamp members are pivotally coupled at a proximal end the clamp members to be pivoted between open and closed positions in a scissor-like fashion. The lower end of the second clamp projects a distance from the opening of the channel when the second clamp member is fully received within the channel when the closure device is in the closed position. The closure device facilitates closing the opening of the flexible bag by folding the open end of the flexible bag around at least the upper end of the second clamp member when the closure device is in the open position. The closure device is moved to the closed position so that the open end of the flexible bag is retained in the folded position when the closure device is in the closed position to effectively close off the opening of the flexible bag.

Abstract: The present invention is a method of preparing and assembling certain prefabricated products (identified below as (a) Suspension Rods; (b) Decorative Finished Wood; (c) Locking Pin; and (d) Rubber Gasket) which, once assembled, will serve as a high end room divider or window covering (also known as window treatments). The inventive framework allows the user who is preparing and assembling the product to have an installed room divider or window coverage that is clean, with no marks, and also able to be assembled by one person, as opposed to having multiple parties present to effect installation.

Abstract: A system for providing shade onto a surface is described herein. The system includes a canopy configured for engagement with, and aerial suspension by, a frame. The frame includes a plurality of sections configured for end-to-end alignment from a left end to a right end of the frame. Each section is configured to engage with any adjacent sections to form the frame. The ends of the frame are secured to the surface, thereby aerially suspending the canopy and providing shade to the surface.

Abstract: A clip for selectively setting a position of a snowmobile ski and a method for adjusting the position. A snowmobile, snowmobile ski assembly, adjustment kit, and a method to adjust snowmobile ski stance also disclosed. The clip includes a connecting portion for selectively to the ski bolt, the connecting portion defining a space having an opening span less than a diameter of the ski bolt, and a central span greater than the opening span, at least one member of the connecting portion being deflected during connection to the ski bolt; and a gripping portion. The method includes removing the clip from the ski bolt on a first side of the ski leg, sliding the ski laterally relative to the ski leg along the ski bolt, and connecting the clip to the ski bolt on a second side of the ski leg.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a cordless covering for a sliding glass door or other large opening or window that can be arranged in at least three different configurations. In one configuration, one or more slats may be inserted into various pockets on the covering to enable an individual to gather the slats together and change a length of the covering. In a second configuration, a portion of the covering may be draped over one of the pockets of the covering to change the length of the covering. In a third configuration, the covering can be pulled to one side of the sliding glass door such that the width of the covering is changed.

Abstract: A hanger and method of attaching a hanger to a deck is described. The method includes attaching the hanger parallel to the ground by attaching them to opposing surfaces of a corrugation of the deck. Certain methods include expanding the length of the hanger to place it in compression. Other methods include flexing the hanger to place it in compression. The method is particularly useful in retrofitting as it generates very little noise and vibration in a structure.

Abstract: A free-standing solid composite intumescent structure has at least one bendable metal mesh, preferably at least two, secured on or in a bendable intumescent sheet material. The structure is bendable by a bending force into a shape at a temperature above ?10° C. while retaining the bended shape when the bending force is removed. The intumescent sheet material has 10 wt % or more, based on total weight of the sheet material, of a polymeric resin; inorganic filler; and, an intumescent component. Fire protection barriers can be made from the free-standing solid composite intumescent structure, which can be used in fire protection systems where the fire protection barrier is installed on a substrate, for example steel building elements.

Abstract: The present invention is a method for adhering a removable object to fabric and includes selecting a fabric, attaching an inter-lining fabric to the back side of the fabric, attaching a magnetic element to the inter-lining fabric, wherein an edge of the magnetic element is parallel to the leading edge of the fabric, attaching a lining fabric to the back side of the fabric, where the lining fabric is adjacent to the inter-lining, folding the leading edge of the fabric over the magnetic element, such that the fabric and the inter-lining overlap the magnetic element and attaching the leading edge to the lining fabric adjacent to the inter-lining, and placing a metallic element on the front side of the fabric, such that the metallic element is positioned flush to the front side of the fabric and adheres to the fabric utilizing the force of the magnetic element.

Abstract: A pallet container for storing and transporting in particular flammable or easily ignitable liquid filling materials includes a thin-walled rigid internal container made from a thermoplastic plastics material, a tubular lattice frame that as a supporting jacket tightly encloses the plastics-material internal container, and a base pallet on which the plastics-material container bears and to which the tubular lattice frame is fixedly connected. The plastics-material internal container on all sides is enclosed by a fire-protection insulation mat which, while dispensing with a sheet-metal sheathing on all sides, is disposed directly between the tubular lattice frame and the plastics-material internal container. The fire-protection insulation mat is configured in a double-layered manner, and has an internal layer made from a heat-resistant non-woven and an external heat-resistant woven-fabric textile layer.

Abstract: A resettable breakaway shower rod system includes a pair of mounting brackets suitable for mounting a curved shower curtain rod having ends on the wall of a shower between the brackets; the mounting brackets each includes a stationary portion, and a rotatable portion which is rotatably coupled to the stationary portion; the stationary portion and the rotatable portion have a releasable engaging device that engages the rod at a horizontal position and releases the rod to a downward breakaway position when excessive downward force is applied; both ends of the rod remain in the bracket, and the rod resets upward to a horizontal position.

Abstract: A particle collector system includes a dust collection unit, a power source unit, and a capacitance measurement unit. The dust collection unit includes first and second electrodes, a second electrode, and a dielectric body covering the electrodes. The power source unit supplies power source voltage to the first and second electrodes. The capacitance measurement unit measures the capacitance between the first and second electrodes. With this particle collector system and dust collection method using it, particles can be almost completely removed without periodic performance of a particle removal operation.

Abstract: A hanger and method of attaching a hanger to a deck is described. Abstract: A wardrobe may be provided. The wardrobe may include a receiving element located in a housing that may be configured to receive and dispense clothing items. Each clothing item may include a unique RFID tag and a number of RFID readers may be connected to a computer configured to obtain information held in each RFID tag. The wardrobe may further include a linear actuator proximate a top surface of the housing; the linear actuator may be controlled by the computer. The linear actuator may be coupled to a gripper assembly on one end. Additionally, the wardrobe may include a number of hangers that may be disposed on one or more inner surfaces of the housing, each hanger may be configured to store one or more of the clothing items. A display screen may be embedded on the outer surface of the housing.

Abstract: The present inventive concept relates to a drapery hanging system, especially the construction of a drapery rod and hardware. The drapery hanging system consists of a basic rod which is mounted adjacent to a window and at its top. The basic rod has a hollow tube sliding thereon to be able to adjust the same to a predetermined length. The hollow tube has a set screw thereon to apply a lateral pressure against the basic rod to arrest the same in a preset length. The basic rod can be mounted either to a vertical wall or against the ceiling. A free end of the hollow tube has a decorating item thereon to enhance the appearance of the drapery hanging system.

Abstract: A drape assembly facilitates replacement of curtains without tools and without disassembling or taking down a curtain rod. Abstract: A versatile curtain comprising fabric material having a top edge, bottom edge and two sides. The fabric can be folded or seamed to provide a tubular pocket near the top edge. A set of horizontally spaced and vertically extending loops are provided near the top edge, too, overlying the pocket. A curtain tape extends across the curtain, from side to side edge and preferably forms one side of the pocket. The tubular pocket, large loops and the curtain band for curtain hooks provide a variety of supporting options for the consumer, seeking to support the same on a curtain rod. The top edge of the curtain can also be supported by a set of clips and rings.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for simple and quick attachment and removal of a hanging panel to a panel holder. The apparatus comprises a panel holder and panel, interconnected on by a complimentary loop cache on one edge of each panel. The loop cache is an interlocking fastener that can be incorporated into the panel construction and may include hooks, loops, clips, clasps, zippers, or magnets. A tab lock that can facilitate engagement of complimentary loop cache surfaces on the panel to a panel holder. A tab lock holder incorporated into the panel holder and panel to function as a catchment for retaining the panel attached to the panel holder.

Abstract: A curtain system is described which includes a curtain having a plurality of rod engaging members attached thereto, a plurality of rods each having a first end, and a curtain release mechanism attached to each rod at the first end thereof. The rod engaging members each include a stem having a first end and a second end, the first end of the stem configured for engagement with the curtain release mechanism, and a keyway formed in the stem and proximate the first end of the stem.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a curtain assembly having at least one connector that is either removably connected to the sheet material or is an integral part of the sheet material. The connector can be in any shape or form as desired. The connector has a front surface, a back surface, a first end, a second end, and has at least one opening which creates a joinable element. The opening on the front surface of the connector can either offset the back surface of the opening or aligned with the back surface of the opening. The joinable element of the connector forms two opposable surfaces that can be centered, off-centered, non-linear, vertical, diagonal in relation to a vertical plane. The two opposable surfaces can be joined to facilitate a stable coupling between a sheet material and a rod. The connector also has an inner perimeter and an outer perimeter wherein the inner perimeter does not need to have the same geometric configuration as the outer perimeter.

Abstract: A support to attach curtains onto existing vertical blind tracks and head rails. The support incorporates a hook for attaching a curtain and a fixture to snap into existing vertical blind hooks that are already on the track thus forming a male/female locking arrangement. The supports are inserted into uniquely spaced pockets on rear side of the curtains and the fixture will snap into the fittings on existing vertical blind tracks thus forming a flat panel of curtain covering a window. The existing pulley mechanism for opening and closing the vertical blinds can then be used to open and close the curtains. This invention will form a male/female locking arrangement between the curtain and the vertical blind track or head rail. The advantage is lower cost for the end user. Unlike MOIR W001/86105 where a snap fastener is used the support incorporates a hook for attaching curtains.

Abstract: Example insulated dividers, such as curtain-doors and temporary walls for dividing areas of a building, include features that make the dividers particularly suited for food and drug related environments that demand cleanliness and require dividers to be periodically washed down to remove microorganisms and other contaminants. Some example dividers include a touch-and-hold fastener to hold a flexible insulated pad within an internal space of a pliable hollow panel. In some examples, the insulated pad is made of polyester batting with loops of fiber to which the hook portion of the touch-and-hold fastener can engage. In some examples, both the insulated pad and the touch-and-hold fastener are completely contained within the hollow panel so that neither the pad nor the fastener provides an exposed external surface for harboring microorganisms. In some examples, the pliable panel's outer peripheral edge is hermetically sealed by thermal bonding, heat sealing, welding and/or ultrasonic joining.

Abstract: The present invention describes a window covering which is useful for securing to objects having windows without using permanent attachment devices. The window covering preferably contains a plurality of magnets arranged along the upper end and along the lower end. The magnets are arranged so that they are coupleable or securable to a metal part of a window itself or a metal surface which houses the window as well as one or more additional magnets positioned within the window covering. The window covering further comprises one or more non-magnetic surface adapters constructed and arranged to secure to at least one magnet along a first surface and to a second, non-magnetic surface along a second surface. The window covering provides at least one contact point for securing to at least one non-magnetic surface.

Abstract: An electrically heated window curtain of fire resistant material to heat up the draft flow of cold air that leaks through single pane glass windows with low voltage heating wires embedded in the fire resistant material, a power source, a thermostat, a battery pack, and a charger. Also included is a curtain rod and gripping strips on the curtain to hold the curtain in a rolled up position when not in use.

Abstract: A curtain divider for an aircraft interior containing pivot stow bins includes a first fabric curtain, having an outboard end and an inboard end, which is attachable to the aircraft interior only at the outboard and inboard ends. The first fabric curtain includes a vertical portion, and a horizontal portion. The vertical portion has a substantially straight bottom edge, and an arcuate top edge defining a space sufficient for opening the pivot stow bins. The horizontal portion is flexibly attached to the vertical portion along the top edge and extends from the outboard end to the inboard end, having a substantially continuous curvature. The horizontal portion is adapted to impart forward and aft stability to the curtain support member at the top edge.

The segments are connected to a bar shaped light transmissive curtain segment carrier having an elongate body through which is formed a plurality of apertures, a plurality of the apertures spaced relative to each other and sized to frictionally retain, without a fastener, a gathered width of a curtain segment with sufficient force to prevent passage of the curtain segment through the aperture due to gravity.
