Abstract: A wind resistant module for advertisement curtain is movably mounted to a frame of an advertisement curtain to effectively cushion and counteract wind forces acting on the advertisement curtain and includes: a base, a board, a first resilient cushioning mechanism, and a second resilient cushioning mechanism. The base includes at least one group of rollers to allow the base to linearly move along the frame in a stable manner. The base is coupled, via the board, to the first resilient cushioning mechanism. The base is coupled externally with the second resilient cushioning mechanism. The first resilient cushioning mechanism provide a cushioning effect for the base against wind force in a longitudinal direction and the second resilient cushioning mechanism is coupled to the advertisement curtain to provide an cushioning effect for the advertisement curtain in a lateral direction and a frontward direction.
Abstract: A vertically adjustable rod support assembly for selectively supporting an existing curtain rod and curtain at an elevated height within an existing window frame, and for enabling a user to lower the vertical height of the curtain rod in order to attach or detach the curtain from the rod, without the need for standing upon a ladder or another object. The vertically adjustable rod support assembly comprises two guide tracks, two pulley assemblies, and two selectively movable rod supports, each attached to a different pulley assembly. The rod supports are used for supporting the curtain rod. The pulley assemblies are used to selectively lower the rod supports, and thereby enables the user to lower the vertical height of the curtain rod supported thereupon, without the need for standing upon a ladder or another object.
Abstract: A suspension device for a sheet-shaped information medium (4), such as a poster or the like, for attachment to a wall or another surface, comprising an upper and a lower bar (1,2) to which the information medium can be fastened, whereby the upper bar (1) is connected to a cord system having pulleys (5, 7, 13, 16, 17, 18) for raising and lowering relatively to wall elements (8, 9, 10, 11, 15) attached to the wall or the like, said cord system comprising a single cord (6) which is fastened to an upper wall element (8) attached to the wall and which runs below two pulleys (5, 18) journalled in the upper bar (1) in the vicinity of the ends thereof and runs above a third pulley (7) journalled in an upper wall element (9) attached to the wall, and depends from this third pulley (7) in order to be manipulated for raising and lowering.
Abstract: A system for raising and lowering an object such as a banner or sign that includes a ceiling unit, that has an axle, and at least two lines connected to the axle in a manner to allow the lines to wind on the axle and thereby moving the object toward and away from the axle. The system has a long control rod having a motor on one end and an engagement to transfer the energy from the motor on the opposite end and thereby controls the rotation of the axle by engaging the ceiling unit and transmitting energy to the axle.
Abstract: A large poster mounting frame is provided for displaying a poster along the wall of a building structure. The poster mounting frame comprises a pair of vertical side guide rails and a support rail extending between and connecting the two side guide rails. The frame can be mounted directly on the side of the building structure. The rails have a U-shaped cross-section with the open portion facing inwardly to form a continuous channel. A pair of grooved wheels are rotatably mounted on the support rail and hoist lines are directed over the grooved wheels and are connected to an upper poster carrying rail attached to the upper edge of a large poster. The lower edge of the poster includes a lower carrying rail. The hoist lines are used to raise the poster along with the upper and lower carrying rail into sliding contact with the side guide rails of the frame until the poster is securely mounted and displayed within the frame.

Abstract: A ceiling mounted unit is provided to wind and unwind lines which suspend an overhead sign. The lines are connected to a shaft in the ceiling unit which is rotated by a motor, raising and lowering the sign suspended by the lines. A brake is provided to prevent the sign from unintentionally lowering under its own weight. The unit is controlled and powered by a portable elongate control device operable by a person on the floor to raise and lower signs by engaging the ceiling unit with the control device. Guide members radially extend from the ceiling unit to facilitate engagement by the control device.
Abstract: Apparatus for mounting screens, such as curtains, comprises a support member suspended from a mounting member. The support member is movable from an in-use position, where a screen hanging from the support member is positioned in its normal in-use location, to a maintenance position in which the support member, and the means for attaching the screen to the support member, are easily accessible.
