Abstract: A shower curtain and series of clips or hooks integral therewith. The clips are single pre-fabricated members including a lower/shower curtain portion and upper/hanger portion. The shower curtain portion retains a shower curtain while the hanger portion attaches to a shower curtain rod. The shower curtain portion may be square-shaped, rectangular or the like and may be received by, and substantially encapsulated by, an internal space defined by layers of shower curtain material at an upper edge thereof. The shower curtain portion is configured to fit onto a shower curtain rod. Advantageously, when attached to the shower curtain rod using the series of clips described herein, the shower curtain is substantially flat or flush relative to the shower curtain rod and/or the clips are concealed in part or completely from a position outside of the shower/bathtub. A shower curtain liner may be attached to the shower curtain.

Abstract: A securable cover apparatus for trade show booths comprising a flexible cover; a fastener mount attached to the flexible cover and a securable fastener having a rotating handle potion and a locking pin that is controlled by the handle portion. The fastener further includes a bracket wall with two guide members that are used to guide the fastener into a channel of the frame of the booth support structure. The securable cover apparatus is able to secure a trade show booth having a frame when the extending guide members of the securable fastener are slid between an opening in the frame and the locking pin is extended and rotated such that the frame of the tradeshow booth is positioned between flanges at the head of the locking pin and the bracket wall.

Abstract: A flexible hurricane shutter or barrier to protect buildings from over pressure has inflatable cushions held in place by a fabric material capable of withstanding winds in excess of 100 mph. The barrier can be stored on site in a rolled fashion. Retainers are mounted on a building to guide and secure the longitudinal edges of the fabric to permit ease of deployment. The retainers may be spaced apart over one side of a building and the barrier may be deployed over an entire surface of a multi-story building by raising and lowering the fabric. Inflatable cushions are held between the fabric and the building. The inflated cushions reinforce the material and distribute the force of impact throughout the surface of the cushions and act as spacers to both hold the fabric off the structure and focus the forces onto stranger portions of the structure.

Abstract: A device for fastening an awning fabric to a winding roller with a welt rail comprises two claw elements swingable against each other, which are transferable into a beyond-dead-center position for the fastening device to snap into and become jammed in the welt rail.

Abstract: The invention relates to a connecting device (1) for connecting a first part having the connecting device (1) to a second part comprising a latching part (3) with a base (6) on which at least one side wall (8) is disposed and which is configured for engaging receipt of a mating part disposed on the second part. A connecting element (2) made of a weldable polymer is disposed on the base (6) and/or on the at least one side wall (8).

Abstract: A storm protection system for covering the opening of a building with a flexible material. The system includes a bracket having a first panel and a second panel, the panels each having a surface, the first surface and the second surface of the bracket having a plurality of protrusions disposed thereon (and various embodiments thereof). Another embodiment utilizing at least one inclined planar portion connected to a planar portion of the bracket at the first edge of the inclined planar portion and an elongated member connected to the at least one inclined planar portion for securing a flexible material. A last embodiment includes a planar bracket having a first end and a second end, the planar bracket made of a resilient material. All embodiments operable to hold a flexible material (fabric, screen . . . etc.) over an opening to a building to protect the opening during a storm.

Abstract: An interchangeable curtain system that allows users to attach and detach curtain drapes without having to completely remove a curtain rod. The present invention makes use of a curtain adapter that is placed on a curtain rod that comprises fasteners that can fasten curtain drapes. When users wish to change the drapes for a different aesthetic look they can simply detach the curtain drapes from the curtain adapter and attach another curtain panel leaving curtain rod and hardware in place.

The wall element 2 allows the partition walls to be largely assembled without tools. This saves time and assembly costs.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a play structure assembly comprising two or more flexible sheet panels having a plurality of loops, edge connectors, and interior connectors attached thereto. At least one edge connector of one flexible sheet panel is removably attached to at least one interior connector of an adjacent flexible sheet panel, thereby forming the play structure assembly. Play structures formed using these play structure assemblies, as well as methods to form them, are also disclosed.

Abstract: Traditional fixing of raising cords on pleated blinds occurs by means of plastic flaps sewn in place that hold knots on the raising cords. Adjustment of tension in the raising cords is difficult, because it may be required to loosen the knot and re-tie it i a better location. According to the invention this is avoided in that a plastic clip has slits, in which the raising cords are pinched and locked after being wound 1½ turn around an interjacent tongue in the plane of the plastic clip.

Abstract: A temporary protection for an opening in a frame of a building component includes flexible sheet material spanning the opening between opposite sides thereof. Each end portion of the sheet material is connected to a frame member at a respective side of the opening, the flexible sheet material being of an open structure and the connection with the frame member being by adhesive which permeates the material from one side to the other. The connection of the sheet material to the frame members is such as to resist loading applied by an adult person acting against the sheet material. The sheet material can be cut by a sharp blade for subsequent removal of the temporary protection from the opening when no longer required.

A secondary groove can enable a retention of a secondary material.

The arrangements include a belt or flange which is sewn or otherwise attached to the flexible top and a U-shaped channel which is formed on the vehicle body. In the preferred embodiments. the belt or flange is received in the U-shaped channel and a mating protuberance and recess arrangement is provided to removably lock the flange in the channel.

The clips each include a secured leg and a supporting leg perpendicular to each other. The secured leg of each clip fits between the door and a doorlight frame. The supporting leg of the clips receive and support the housing.

Abstract: A cover assembly for the cargo area of a vehicle includes a plurality of rails which can be attached to the walls of a truck bed and a cover having an edge which is engageable by the rails. The rails are connected together by corner members. The corner members include a locking structure which is inserted into a channel in the rails. The locking mechanism of the corner members engages slots in the rails and secures the rails together. The rails include different structures which engage fasteners on the edges of the cover.

Abstract: A fastening device for adjustably securing a flexible sheet comprising a first fastening component (62) having a recess (62a) formed therein. A portion of the flexible sheet is secured in the recess (62a) by cooperation of a second fastening component (61) after location of the portion in a desired position relative to the recess (62a). Abstract: A removable vehicle window security screen system includes a reticulated netting formed to a shape of a window opening, a resilient border strip secured to the netting, a plurality of apertures in a window frame, and a plurality of fasteners for projecting through the border strip into the apertures. The fasteners are insertable only from an inside of the vehicle thereby allowing the user to lock the vehicle while stationary without fear of theft.

Abstract: An assembly for holding and tensioning a webbing particularly useful in an article of furniture in which the webbing is adapted to be stressed by a person seated thereon. Male and female members are employed, the female member being fastened to a framework, and the male member being fastened to the webbing. The male member is positioned between side walls of the female member, and first and second abutment surfaces of each member engage each other in the assembly and are urged into engagement by the stress upon the webbing. The male member is levered into engagement with the female member.

Abstract: For rolling out dough, a flexible pastry cloth includes a plurality of first fastener parts or buttonholes spaced successively around its margin. A plurality of suction cups, each securingly engageable with a flat surface, such as a tabletop or countertop, each have a second fastener part or button individually connectable removably with a corresponding part on the cloth. Engagement of the cups with the surface permits stretching of the cloth to enable rolling of the dough against the surface through the cloth. A further improvement adds a second flexible cloth affixed atop and overlying the first.
