Abstract: A visual barrier windscreen includes a first series of monofilament threads formed in pillar stitches extending in a warp direction and a second series of monofilament threads formed in zigzag stitches extending in a first weft direction relative to the pillar stitches and binding adjacent pillar stitches. A third series of monofilament threads may be formed in zig-zag stitches extending in a second weft direction, opposite to the first weft direction, and also binding adjacent pillar stitches. A pattern of hexagonal wind-passage holes may be formed by cooperation of the pillar stitches and zig-zag stitches. At least a 75-80% visual block may be attained with the cooperation of the pillar stitches and zig-zag stitches.

Abstract: A shower curtain (or conventional drapes) and series of clips integral with an upper edge of the shower curtain. The clips are a single pre-fabricated member including a lower/shower curtain portion and upper/hanger portion. The shower curtain portion is configured to retain a shower curtain while the hanger portion is configured to attach to a shower curtain rod. A retention member may be square-shaped, rectangular or the like and may be received by an internal space defined by layers of shower curtain material. The shower curtain portion defines a space and opening for allowing the clip to fit onto a shower curtain rod. Advantageously, when attached to the shower curtain rod using the series of clips described herein, the shower curtain is substantially flat or flush relative to the shower curtain rod and/or the clips are concealed in part or completely from a position outside of the shower/bathtub.

Each opening is reinforced with rings having projecting flanges extending beyond the ring away from the curtain. Abstract: A window awning system comprises an awning fabric defining an upper edge with a hollow hem formed therein and a lower edge with grommets. An extrusion mounts on the wall. Apertures in a face portion receive wall fasteners and an outwardly extending C-shaped channel. A hem rope is contained within the hem. The hem and rope are then fed into the C-shaped channel. A pair of hollow wall posts have an inboard wall mounting end and an outboard free end. The inboard end has a flat rectangular plate. Each outboard free end receives an end cap. A perimeter cable has a central section passing through holes in the end caps and attaches to the extrusion by the use of metal wire crimps. A lashing rope passes through each grommet of the awning fabric and encompasses the perimeter cable with each pass for securement of the fabric from below.

Abstract: There is supported, from support cables under tension, a porous textile product suitable for use in shielding farm plants or animals from adverse weather. A hem cable of a pliable multifilament wire inside a soft sheath is sewn around one or more edges of a panel of a preferred cloth, with its free ends exteriorised at one corner. Frangible plastic clips are used to make loops around both the hem cable and the support cables. Optional panel stretching uses a hem cable anchor holding the cables to a fixed support located by one corner of the panel, a pulley at each adjacent corner, and a hem cable tensioner located at the free ends may be used to maintain the panel in a spread-out state. Alternative ways to provide a fabric panel with edge reinforcements are described.
