Abstract: Present disclosure relates to several adjustable roller shades. Adjustable roller shade includes: roller shade fabric winding shaft, weight, movable pulley, traction rope, and a pair of winders. A roller shade fabric is wound on roller shade fabric winding shaft 1 forming upper edge of adjustable roller shade. Weight is attached to bottom of roller shade fabric forming lower edge of adjustable roller shade. Movable pulley is fixedly attached to one end of the roller shade fabric winding shaft. The traction rope is wound around the movable pulley and pair of winders and pair of tensioning wheels. One or more driving motors drive the pair of winders to rotate in different combination of directions to raise or lower both upper edge and lower edge of adjustable roller shade, resulting the adjustable roller shade to be opened or closed freely from both upper and lower edges of the adjustable roller shade.

  • Patent number: 9689201
Abstract: A screen system for use with a sliding panel of a window or door is used to screen an opening as the sliding panel or door is opened. The screen is attached to the edge of the sliding panel adjacent the opening, and is wound onto a spindle. The spindle is rotatably mounted adjacent the screen opening around which the screen is wound so that the screen can be unwound from or wound onto the spindle. A cord is connected between the sliding panel and the spindle pulley via an idler pulley. In this arrangement the spindle is caused to rotate so as to wind the screen back onto the spindle as the sliding panel is slid towards the closed position. While the screen is wound off the spindle, the cord is wound onto the spindle pulley and vice versa. As the A tension adjustment arrangement can also be provided that is configured to adjust the tension in the cable as the screen is wound and unwound from the spindle due to the change in diameter of the cord around the spindle pulley.

Abstract: The invention herein pertains to a screen for use with a conventional multiple-hung window. In the one embodiment, the window screen can be concealed in the bottom lateral member of the sash frame and unwound as the sash is raised thus providing an automatic window screen. When the sash is closed a spring-loaded axle causes the screen to tightly rewind within the sash cavity. In the preferred form, an apron is provided below the window stool for housing a screen coil in which a free end is affixed to the bottom lateral member of the lower sash. A pivot bar attached to the lower sash allows the screen to evenly unroll even when the window sash yaws due to uneven pressure thereon or the like during opening and closing.

Abstract: A garage door screen system is provided for a sectional garage door of the type which opens to an overhead position while supported by rollers contained in channels. The screen system is for a partially opened garage door and, in the preferred embodiment, provides separate screens for the bottom opening and the opening at the top which occurs as the door panels pivot inwardly. The bottom screen is alternately a rigid panel which is supported by vertical guides to the lowest door panel, or a window shade draw down type. A latch holds the lower rigid screen so that it does not extend below the door panel. When the latch is released, the screen panel will descend. The latch can be re-engaged merely by lowering the door. Torsion springs in the roller mechanism, automatically retract the screen secured to it when the latch holding the screen in its extended position is released. The top screen is attached at its top end to an upper cylinder which is secured to the door frame by pipe clamps.
