Control Of Quantity Of Inert Gas Patents (Class 165/273)
  • Patent number: 11486652
Abstract: A heat-dissipating device includes a condenser and an evaporator. The condenser includes a shell and a main capillary wick. The shell has a chamber and a through hole communicating with the chamber. The main capillary wick is disposed in the chamber. The evaporator has an evaporating section, a gas conduit and a liquid conduit. The evaporating section has a gas cavity, and the liquid conduit communicating with the chamber and filling with a liquid. The liquid conduit having a hole communicating with the gas cavity is inserted in the gas conduit and the gas cavity. A stepped area is formed between the liquid conduit and the chamber for gathering the liquid flowing into the liquid conduit.

  • Patent number: 9404692
Abstract: An method of controlling thermal transfer between a first structure and a second structure may include a signal at a thermal switch. In response to receiving the signal at the thermal switch, a rotating plate may be rotated into one or more positions adjacent to a fixed plate to facilitate radiative thermal transfer between the rotating plate and the fixed plate. The rotating plate and the fixed plate may be in thermally conductive contact with respective ones of the first structure and the second structure.

  • Patent number: 8316927
Abstract: A waste heat recovery device includes a heat pipe in which a working fluid for transporting heat is enclosed, and a mode-switching valve for switching a heat recovery mode and a heat insulation mode. The heat pipe has a heating part for heating and evaporating the working fluid and a cooling part for cooling and condensing the evaporated working fluid. The heating part is made of a steel through which hydrogen gas permeates about at 500° C. and higher. In the heat recovery mode, the waste heat recovery device recovers heat of exhaust gas by using the heat pipe. Furthermore, in the heat insulation mode, a heat transport from the heating part to the cooling part is stopped.

  • Publication number: 20080142208
Abstract: A method and apparatus for heating a substrate is provided herein. In one embodiment, a substrate heater includes a vessel having an upper member including a top surface for supporting a substrate thereon; a liquid disposed within and partially filling the vessel; and a heat source for providing sufficient heat to the liquid to boil the liquid. Optionally, a pressure controller for regulating the pressure within the vessel may be provided. The substrate is heated by first placing the substrate on the support surface of the vessel of the substrate heater. The liquid contained in the vessel is then boiled. As the liquid is boiling, a uniform film of heated condensation is deposited on a bottom side of the support surface. The heated condensation heats the support surface which in turn, heats the substrate.
