Spaced From Moldboard Side Of Plow Patents (Class 172/202)
  • Patent number: 9714498
Abstract: A berm repair assembly repairs a berm adjacent to a roadway. The assembly includes a hitch configured for coupling to a vehicle. An elongated frame has a main section coupled to the hitch. A triangular first outer section of the frame is coupled to and extends from the main section of the frame terminating at a first end of the frame. The first end of the frame is positioned in laterally spaced relationship to the hitch. A leveler is coupled to the first outer section of the frame. The leveler has a substantially V-shaped medial section and a pair of spaced opposed side walls. Each side wall extends from an associated end of the medial section.

  • Patent number: 5285854
Abstract: A stalk, root, and agricultural debris embedding or burying device particularly suited for row crops such as cotton. The apparatus is pulled behind a tractor in close proximity to the row crops. A furrowing tool creates a temporary furrow in a lee, and before gravity can pull dirt back into the furrow, an embedding tool pushes the stalk and root into the furrow, thereby embedding the debris with the collapsing soil after the furrowing tool. An optional ripping tool is used ahead of, or in conjunction with, the furrowing tool to facilitate penetration of the furrowing tool.

  • Patent number: 5172769
Abstract: A tiller attachment for switchable bidirectional mold board plow which is adapted to be mounted onto the tool bar of the plow. The attachment includes a pair of axially spaced apart frame members which support arms joined at a right angles at a pivot point. The frame members lie in parallel spaced apart planes perpendicular to the axis of the tool bar and are pivotable from the right to the left side thereof. Tine bars are pivotably mounted to free ends of the frame members and are rotatable into ground engaging positions. An actuator which is responsive to the position of the plow rotates the frame members so that the tines firmly engage the ground behind the plow.

  • Patent number: 4844495
Abstract: A drawbar for pulling a cultipacker for compacting loose earth. The drawbar has a main pulling beam for attachment at a forward end to a plow being drawn by a tractor and at a rearward end to the cultipacker. The drawbar includes an extendible arm connected at one end to the plow and pivotally connected at it's opposite end to the main pulling beam and an extendible leg pivotally connected between the extendible arm and the main pulling beam adjacent it's rearward end thereof.

  • Patent number: 4687065
Abstract: A cultivator comprises an array of laterally-spaced soil-inversion discs having their centers arranged in a substantially horizontal line lying at not more than 30.degree. to a transverse plane of the cultivator and being mounted for rotation about individual axes which are equally inclined to the vertical and, when viewed in plan, also to the longitudinal plane of the cultivator.

  • Patent number: 4173261
Abstract: An assembly for creating furrows in a freshly plowed field. The furrows, two to three feet apart, are usually created in the fall and are useful for retaining moisture in the soil during the winter months and are helpful in preventing soil erosion by the wind. The furrowing assembly is detachably mounted on a mulcher bar assembly which is mounted to a moldboard plow. The mulcher bar assembly includes an elongated bar having several chisel-type field cultivators downwardly extending in a soil-engaging position. The orientation of the mulcher bar may be reversed so that rod-like teeth members extending therefrom are in a soil-engaging position for mulching in the spring. Thus, depending upon the orientation of the mulcher bar, the apparatus may be used for either mulching or furrowing.

  • Patent number: 4171172
Abstract: An auxiliary implement mount which utilizes a triangular shape for attaching to a variety of shapes and sizes of tool bars of a first implement in a variety of positions.A rod is pivotally attached by a pin through one of a series of holes arranged in a triangle configuration on a plate to the mount at one end thereof and to an auxiliary implement at the other end thereof. The rod is laterally stabilized by a bracket with a spring inside for exerting downward pressure and allowing vertical movement. The auxiliary implement is attached to the rod's other end by a wedge-shaped plate that utilizes a collar on the rod to tilt the implement at a desired angle to the ground.
