Abstract: In one aspect, a finishing assembly for an agricultural implement may include first and second rolling baskets, a basket support assembly configured to support the first and second rolling baskets relative to each other, a linkage pivotably coupled to the basket support assembly at a pivot point, and at least one damping element. The at least one damping element may be configured to damp pivoting of the basket support assembly about the pivot point in both a first pivot direction and a second pivot direction, the second pivot direction being opposite the first pivot direction.

Abstract: A tillage apparatus includes a wheeled frame configured with a plurality of concave blades arranged in a plurality of longitudinally extending columns and transversely extending rows. The rows are longitudinally spaced apart by a progressively increasing distance. The blades of each column are transversely tilted alternately to the left and right. The blades of each column are transversely offset from one another to create a swath of tilled ground along the width of the column. In operation, soil is thrown left and right between successive blades of a column to till the soil across the width of the column and leave a substantially level soil surface.

Abstract: An agricultural implement for towing over fields, for incorporating crop residues into soil, possessing a pair of juxtaposed, substantially parallel, spaced-apart, rotatable shafts, comprising a first forwardly-mounted shaft and a second rearwardly-mounted shaft, each mounted on a frame transversely to a direction of travel of said implement. A plurality of protruding tine members, extending substantially radially outwardly from each of said pair of shafts and longitudinally spaced along each of said pair of shafts, each tine member adapted to rotate about a longitudinal axis of a respective shaft, a tip of each of said tine members when rotating about said respective shaft creating a circular arc, are further provided. The circular arcs of the tine members on one of said pair of shafts interdigitate with a corresponding plurality of circular arcs of said tine members on said other of said pair of shafts.
Abstract: Hydraulic mechanism for varying the angular relationship between a pair of adjacent end-connected disc harrow gangs which uses the same power source that ordinarily is employed for raising and lowering the harrow frame structure as a power source to actuate the gang angling mechanism. A bell crank lever mechanism embodying a pivot shaft, trailing wheel axle arms, and a crank arm, has the latter arm connected to the power source so that when the crank arm is swung in opposite fore and aft directions, the frame structure is raised or lowered.
