Push Frame For Scrapers Patents (Class 172/788)
  • Patent number: 11711993
Abstract: A wheel assembly for an agricultural implement. The agricultural equipment includes a laterally-extending toolbar with one or more agricultural tools extending from the toolbar. The wheel assembly comprises a wheel configured to rotate along a ground surface. The wheel assembly additionally comprises a base bracket configured to be rigidly secured to the toolbar. The wheel assembly further comprises a wheel bracket adjustably engaged with the base bracket. Adjustment of the wheel bracket with respect to the base bracket causes a corresponding lateral shifting of the wheel with respect to the toolbar.

  • Patent number: 10378176
Abstract: A scraper blade assembly for a vehicle such as a tractor or skid-steer vehicle has a frame having a socket with a pivotable ball for connection to the vehicle. The pivotable ball permits pivoting movement of the frame about a longitudinal axis, a transverse axis and a vertical axis of the vehicle. Tilt of a scraper blade mounted on the frame is controlled by left and right hydraulic cylinders and angle of the scraper blade is controlled by a third hydraulic cylinder. A control system has a single joystick which is capable actuating the left and right hydraulic cylinders independently or simultaneously. The combination of the pivotable ball mount to permit three degrees of freedom of movement of the frame and the ability of a single joystick to independently or simultaneously control the left and right hydraulic cylinders results in smooth and accurate blade placement for finer control over earth moving operations.

  • Patent number: 6648078
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device which may be mounted to the front of a tractor and which is operative to fold over corn stalks and the like before they engage the front tires of the tractor. The device positions dragging units in front of each of the front tires of the tractor, whereby the dragging units are dragged over the ground in front of the tires when the tractor is moving. The weight of each of the dragging units is sufficient to cause it to substantially fold over corn stalks and the like prior to their engagement with the front tires of the tractor, thereby greatly minimizing wear to the tires caused by engagement with the corn stalks and the like.

  • Patent number: 4930582
Abstract: A grader attachment is a forward extending triangular truss structure, which extends from a point of pivotal attachment to a tractor to a tandem front wheel support. A blade frame pivotally hangs from the peak of the truss, supporting a cutter blade immediately beneath the truss. The blade frame is capable of both lateral rotation an tilt. Blade positioning provides lateral forces for sliding the blade from side to side, and a rotational force for turning the blade so as to provide for a left or right leading edge cut. The blade describes, as it is moved, a cutting line tangent to a circle of large radius. The blade is supported through a long lever arm, increasing the stability of the blade position. The tractor raises and lowers the blade by tilting the entire truss. The apparatus is steered by the steering wheels of the tractor.

  • Patent number: 3976146
Abstract: A grader of the type including a longitudinal overlying boom connecting a front wheel assembly to a rear tractor unit with a blade carrier frame assembly positioned intermediate the front wheels assembly and the tractor unit. This grader is characterized by a boom which is longitudinally adjustable, laterally swingable and mounted over the cab to allow selective adjustment between a maximum effective wheelbase and a minimum turning radius to allow a lower cab and overall profile of the grader, and to provide an increased effective field of vision to the operator and to provide roll-over protection for the operator. This grader also distinctively includes a blade, the carrier frame of which is rearwardly connected to the tractor unit rather than forwardly to the boom, such as to be pushed by the tractor unit instead of being drawn by the boom, to thus allow a boom of lighter construction.
