Abstract: An adjustable snowplow is provided, the adjustable snowplow including a center blade and first and second wing blades each positioned on opposite ends of the center blade. A channel is provided along a back and length of the center blade. First and second wing bars are provided, attached to respective backs of the first and second wing blades, and configured to be slidably received within the channel for reciprocal movement. In this manner, the blades are moved inwardly toward or outwardly away from the center blade, thereby adjusting an overall width of the snowplow. The channel includes a cross-sectional shape defined by a plurality of surfaces. One or more gaps are respectively formed in one or more of the plurality of surfaces, to permit snow and water that would otherwise be trapped to fall and/or flow away from the adjustable snowplow.
Abstract: A DCM circle shoe for a motor grader is disclosed. The DCM circle shoe may have a base having a mounting surface, and a lip portion protruding from the base at an end of the base opposite the mounting surface in a direction generally parallel with the mounting surface. The DCM circle shoe may also have a wear insert mounted at a distal edge of the lip portion, the wear insert having an outer wear surface oriented at an oblique angle relative to the mounting surface of the base.

Abstract: A full support bearing for a grader circle including a first radial groove in a cylindrical portion of the circle includes a group of inserts forming a second support groove within the first radial groove. It also includes circle supports sized and shaped such that the gap between any two circle supports is small. The circle supports are arranged along a circumference of the circle and rigidly attached to a draw bar. The arrangement results in virtual 360 degree circle support, lower loads, and smaller material deflections at all loaded areas, and significantly increased durability due to a resultant reduction in wear rates.

Abstract: An apparatus for moving debris such as chicken manure away from a wall including a frame assembly movable across a floor, a scraping member suspended from the frame assembly and a guide member connected to the scraping member. The scraping member is arranged for scraping debris away from the wall and causing movement of the scraping member and frame assembly toward the wall when the frame assembly is moved in a predetermined direction across the floor. The guide member causes movement of the scraping member away from the wall and around objects projecting out from the wall such as support beams.
Abstract: A grading attachment for a skid steer loader is provided with steerable wheels that are steered by an actuator. The blade of the grading attachment may be rotatable through 360 degrees by a motor and gear assembly. Actuators may be provided to raise, lower and tilt the blade. The actuators may be hydraulic, and may be controlled by switches mounted on sleeves that may be mounted on the control handles of the loader. The switches may control the flow of hydraulic fluid to the actuators by actuating solenoid valves.

Abstract: A circle and beam assembly for a motor grader. The circle and beam assembly of the present invention includes a circle from which two beams extend wherein the beams are oppositely disposed. An opening is defined at the lower end of each beam. A hinge rod is received through the openings, and the hinge rod extends beyond each of the beams for receiving a grader blade thereon. The outer diameter of the hinge rod is slightly larger than the diameter of each opening. Each opening is heated to permit the hinge rod to slide therethrough such that upon cooling, the hinge rod is securely held.
Abstract: Flexibility of operation is added to a vehicle (10) having a vehicle frame (12) with an operator area (18) and front and rear wheels (14), (16), a power tool (32), a pair of outrigger arms (48) pivoted to the frame (12) and hydraulic cylinders (62) extending between the frame (12) and the arms (48) by providing a ground engaging tool (70), (168), (172), (192) mounted on at least one of the arms (58).
Abstract: A grader of the type including a longitudinal overlying boom connecting a front wheel assembly to a rear tractor unit with a blade carrier frame assembly positioned intermediate the front wheels assembly and the tractor unit. This grader is characterized by a boom which is longitudinally adjustable, laterally swingable and mounted over the cab to allow selective adjustment between a maximum effective wheelbase and a minimum turning radius to allow a lower cab and overall profile of the grader, and to provide an increased effective field of vision to the operator and to provide roll-over protection for the operator. This grader also distinctively includes a blade, the carrier frame of which is rearwardly connected to the tractor unit rather than forwardly to the boom, such as to be pushed by the tractor unit instead of being drawn by the boom, to thus allow a boom of lighter construction.
