  • Patent number: 7778421
Abstract: An apparatus and a method are provided for selectively accessing digital content carried on a distribution medium such as a physical medium or a broadcast medium. In one embodiment, a plurality of digital content items are encrypted under a plurality of different key management blocks, wherein each key management block is associated with a different set of device keys. The plurality of content items may be provided together on a single distribution medium to devices having assigned device keys, so that devices may selectively access content as determined by the different key management block used to encrypt the various content items and by the device keys assigned to the devices. Depending on the association between the device key and the key management blocks, the decoding device may decode all of the content items, some of the content items, or none of the content items. To provide greater security, each content item may be multiple encrypted using multiple key management blocks per content item.

  • Patent number: 7707710
Abstract: A tool is disclosed for driving a slide under a wedge within a slot of an armature or field of a dynamoelectric machine. The tool comprises a frame including a pair of elongated rail members; a force application block located between the rail members; a drive connected to the frame, substantially intermediate opposite ends of the frame; a lead screw threadably engaged at one end with the force application block and connected at an opposite end to the drive such that the drive rotates the lead screw when actuated. Rotation of the lead screw causes axial movement of the force application block. The armature or field includes a core, and this core may have one or more vent slots for facilitating ventilation of the armature or field. A slot plate for locating the tool relative to the slide is present, and a portion of the slot plate extends into one or more vent slots. The slot plate establishes a reaction point for forces applied by the force application block to the stator slide.

  • Publication number: 20090008113
Abstract: A post driver has a housing of tubular form extending substantially vertically, and weight telescopically mounted within the housing for movement between an extended position raised above the housing and a lowered position. A strike pad projects from the weight to drive a post into a hole drilled in the ground. A fluid cylinder mounted within the housing extends from a lower part of the housing to the interior of the weight and is operable to raise the weight to its extended position whereby the weight can then fall to a lower position at which its strike pad engages the upper end of the post.

  • Patent number: 6889777
Abstract: A post driving implement for use with a vehicle, such as a tractor or a skid loader, is disclosed. The post driving implement is comprised of a hammer, a hammer channel, and a hammer cylinder. The hammer travels longitudinally within the hammer channel and is lifted by the hammer cylinder mounted to a closed end of the hammer channel. The hammer cylinder and its associated plumbing is of sufficient size to function as a hydraulic reservoir for the post driving implement, thus eliminating the need for a third hydraulic line to the reservoir on the vehicle and to avoiding need for alteration of the vehicle's reservoir. The post driving implement of the present invention may also include a back plate for mounting the implement to a vehicle. Additionally, the post driving implement may include adjustment mechanisms to vary the positional and angular relationship between the vehicle and the implement.
