The wave gripping core sleeve includes a plurality of interlocking members having a first end and a second end with a groove adjacent at least one of the ends. The first side of each interlocking member is engaged with the second side of an adjacent interlocking member. At least one resilient member wraps around the circumference of the interlocking members and is received in a channel formed by the aligned grooves. The interlocking members include a first set of ribs to engage the conductor in a first direction and a second set of ribs to engage the conductor in a second direction, opposite from the first direction.

    Abstract: A device for detachably fastening a current conductor to a current transformer housing, comprising the current transformer housing, a retaining element that is guided through the current transformer housing, a fastening element that is guided through the retaining element, and a clamping element (5). The fastening element and/or the retaining element are seated against at least some regions of the surface of the current conductor when the current conductor is fastened to the current transformer housing. The fastening element can be rotated about the longitudinal axis thereof so as to fasten and/or detach the current conductor. In a second position, the clamping element prevents the translatory displacement of the retaining element along the longitudinal axis thereof.
