  • Patent number: 10932377
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a housing for electrical components and to a method for connecting a housing body to a housing cover. The housing includes the housing body. The base plate supports components arranged thereon. The housing also includes the housing cover which is fastened to the base plate by way of crimp tabs. The crimp tabs are bent over in such a way that the housing cover is interlockingly connected to the housing body. The disclosure also relates a method for connecting the housing to the housing cover. An edge region of the base plate projects beyond the contact surface of the housing body, where crimp tabs that have been bent over lie against the contact surface. Some of the crimp tabs may be designed as extended crimp tabs that partially extend around horizontal body surfaces of the housing body, which lies on the base plate.

  • Patent number: 7679933
Abstract: A loadable/unloadable adapter for a substrate which can simplify the loading and unloading work of the substrate. A substrate 23 is loaded to an loadable/unloadable adapter 13. The loadable/unloadable adapter 13 is inserted from a window hole 14 of a housing 12. A handle member 26 swings about a supporting axis 25. A projected piece 27 moves in accordance with swinging of the handle member 26. A projected piece 27 causes the loadable/unloadable adapter 13 to move forward on the basis of the so-called principle of a lever. Even when a resistance force works for the forward movement of the loadable/unloadable adapter 13 on the basis of a friction resistance of both front connector 18 and main connector 21 when these connectors are coupled, the forward movement of the loadable/unloadable adapter 13 can be attained only with a comparatively small force.

Abstract: An electrical shielding arrangement of a high-voltage line has at least two coupling elements. The coupling elements each have a tubular control electrode about a line leadthrough and are surrounded by a barrier. Owing to the fact that the reduction in the diameters of the control electrode and the barrier is matched in relation to one another, a barrier decoupled in this way can be used for mechanically tensioning the coupling systems which have been pushed one inside the other.

  • Patent number: 7214888
Abstract: Described is an adaptable electromagnetic interference and radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) shield adapted to reduce unwanted EMI/RFI at an electrically conductive equipment panel having an elongated aperture. The aperture provides external access to a mounting bracket of an expansion board assembly. The mounting bracket (e.g., for a PCI expansion board) abuts an interior surface of the equipment panel at the elongated aperture and includes an angled flange extending through the elongated aperture. The EMI/RFI shield includes an electrically conductive shield extension slidable between open and closed positions. The shield extension includes a flange receptacle for receiving the angled flange of the mounting bracket and a shielding plate. The shielding plate overlaps an adjustable portion of the elongated aperture such that in a closed position the shielding plate together with the mounting bracket cover substantially the entire elongated aperture.
