Abstract: A power supply adapter with a foldable plug is disclosed. The power supply adapter includes a first casing, a second casing, a rotatable cylinder, a projecting plug, and a lighter connector. A cavity is formed on the front end of the first casing. Two vertical plates are mounted on the second casing for supporting the rotatable cylinder. A lighter connector is connected to the front end of the projecting plug for insertion into a lighter socket. The projecting plug is formed on the front end of the rotatable cylinder and extends from a cavity space defined by the front end of the first casing and the second casing. By rotating the rotatable cylinder, the angle of the projecting plug is changed. A voltage converting circuit is arranged in the adapter for supplying a first and a second output voltage.

Abstract: To manufacture a molded connector formed by a primary molding and a secondary molding, a primary molded piece having resin portion integrally formed with terminals and a projection formed on the resin portion is prepared first. The primary molded piece is disposed inside a mold used for the secondary molding such that a distal end of the projection abuts against a part of inner face of the mold. Then resin material is injected into the mold to conduct the secondary molding. The projection of the primary molded piece is deformable in accordance with inspecting pressure of the resin material. After the secondary molded piece is removed from the mold, a shape of the distal end of the projection to judge inferiority of the inspecting pressure of the resin material.

Abstract: A retaining clip for trunking includes a fixing base attached locally to a longitudinal wall of a base section of the trunking, such as an internal partition thereof, and a retaining flap which is articulated to the fixing base and can move from a standby position, in which it allows unrestricted access to the underlying interior volume of the base section, to a service position, in which it closes that interior volume at least partly, extending substantially transversely relative to it. The retaining clip includes, independently of any member or component of the base section or of the trunking, a releasable locking system for locking the retaining flap in its service position. Applications include trunking for electrical devices.

Abstract: A cabling apparatus that is easily retrofitted into the cabin of an aircraft for allowing containment and routing of cabling. The cabling apparatus is integrated into an interior compartment of an aircraft and may be adjacent to a seat of the aircraft. The cabling apparatus comprises a cylindrical housing comprising a flexible material with a longitudinal opening along its length, thus providing two opposing edges to the opening. The opposing edges comprise first and second locking connectors for inter-engaging to lock the opening of the cabling apparatus. When the first and second locking connectors are urged into engagement the cabling apparatus is locked in a closed position such that cabling contained therein cannot be removed or accessed. In one embodiment the cabling apparatus is affixed to a cabin floor of the aircraft by a fastener.

  • Patent number: 6472596
Abstract: A raceway fitting, including a first housing portion having a bottom surface, a first wall and a second wall, and a first coupling member adjacent said first wall. The first coupling member has a tapered surface with first and second ends, the tapered surface extending from an obtuse angle from the first wall. The adapter assembly further has a second housing portion with a first side portion and a second side portion. A second coupling member is located on the first side portion, the second coupling member having a first edge and a second edge. When coupling the first housing portion to the second housing portion, the first edge of the second coupling member engages the tapered surface of the first coupling member, adjacent the first edge and traverses the tapered surface in the direction of the second end, to facilitate the coupling thereof. This allows the two housing portions to be easily assembled and also allows the assembly to withstand an impact to the housing without the housing portions uncoupling.
